This boat is 1 1/2 years old and needs new bottom paint. Looks like the bottom paint was applied directly to the hull with no prepping.

There should have been a barrier coat applied before the bottom paint. However, before either is put on the gel coat surface should have been "roughed" up to create a surface to adhere to. Good video.

Do they lift the boat and move all the jacks, or do they replace a jack and remove the one they are working on, hope that makes sense?

They bring the travel lift over, lift the boat and re-position the stands.
