If you’re going to dive in you must really consider everything. It’s funny you see a beautiful boat house kept Monk or Chris or Viking that are big wooden cruisers with lots of years of memories still in them. They sell very cheap after being well taken care of and in good shape. There’s a lot of value in that situation as long as you can afford the boat house. Far cheaper than buying something really cheap and plowing years of labour in it. It’s a way to have a beautiful big cruiser for the price of a much smaller boat.

they say its about 10-20% of the buying price to keep a boat afloat. Thats if you fully maintain them and spend that much every year, year on year. But as the boats get older you would think that would start to go down, dont be fooled. it usually goes up and up. 🤣🤣
