    Very impressive effort! A good reminder to not have any more thru-hulls than the boat absolutely needs.

Don't have time to mess with it. Im sure it's an easy fix. As is. Willing to negotiate or trade for a late model pickup. No low ballen. I know what I got.

    I love it! the fittings all look like nylon/plastic and ill bet every single one is original. This is a Perfect example of someone who knows nothing about pmc, that these nylon thru hulls have a shelf life and need to be inspected and replaced yearly as needed, this owner has got too much money, no maintenance knowledge and no f'n bussiness owning a boat, you shouldve left that sea ray pos on the bottom, youd have been doing the boating world a favor

    That was really interesting to watch I don't even have a boat yet and I thought that was cool. but I do have a couple questions. what were the white things that you threw on top of the flooded area they look like towels? would an airbag have helped? And last but not least how old is that dog? I look forward to the next one.

    • @CaptainRetriever
      @CaptainRetriever  29 дней назад +2

      @@ScooterTraveler new puppy 12 weeks old. Come-alongs are less work & cleanup so we prefer over lift bags. White towels are oil absorbent pads, they’re still white which means they didn’t absorb much, they soak it up oil & fuel well if there’s enough in the water.

    Does insurance normally total boats when this happens? I know the boat itself is fine but what about all the wiring.. I’ve heard stories about it may seem fine but over time it starts causing major problems.

    That slip was a bit narrow for the boat. A simple board used to prevent the boat from getting held under the dock would have been so easy.

    @bsfishing7073 22 дня назад

    😮kinda scary when you use the boat the day before and they was nothing showing up and just one night everything changed 😮this is why you don’t ever just be complacent about your boat you have to constantly check your vessel because just like this guy you could end up paying a very expensive repair bill always check your plumbing for leaks because that probably what happened here his hoses clamp slipped off and he wasn’t aware of it

  • @larryperdue508

    I used to see a fire boat 🚢 on a lake I visited and it was a twin jet boat and the engines had some serious power but back to the jets it had water pipe that came up off the jet exit nosills and had fire hose connectors and where capped but when needed you could uncap and connect fire hoses and close the jets man could it pump water 💧 might want to think about that 🤔 might be something you'd convert your rescue boat. PS hope you read this 😊😊😊
