    I've just started taking creatine. I'm 52 and post menopausal and workout 5 to 6 times a week. Largely strength training to maintain my muscle mass. I'm excited to see how this affects me. I feel as though I'm coming out of the worst of the menopausal brain fog but really happy to read so many accounts of this helping maintain mental clarity. I have ok muscles, but with them atrophying as I get older, I'm all for helping maintain the muscle mass. Does it help with bone strength too? Your products are excellent value and I love the helpful channel with bags of helpful, quick to the point info! Will look forward to reporting back in a few months. Popeye, watch out!

    • @helojoeywala6622
      @helojoeywala6622 Год назад +1

      creatine doesn't help with bone strength but working out does help with bone strength.
      Eat foods that support bone health. Get enough calcium, vitamin D, and protein each day. Low-fat dairy; leafy green vegetables; fish; and fortified juices, milk, and grains are good sources of calcium. If your vitamin D level is low, talk with your doctor about taking a supplement.
      Get active. Choose weight-bearing exercise, such as strength training, walking, hiking, jogging, climbing stairs, tennis, and dancing. This type of physical activity can help build and strengthen your bones.
      Don’t smoke. Smoking increases your risk of weakened bones.
      Limit alcohol consumption. Too much alcohol can harm your bones. Drink in moderation or not at all.

I heard about creatine, bought a tub of some stuff called no-xplode and incorporated it into my bench workouts. Just before i finished that tub, i tested my max AGAIN one random day,....and i hit my next max goal that i had been stuck on for so long! I hadnt changed anything about my workouts, just added the creatine for about a month, kept working out. I was surrounded by my high school buddies that day in the gym, and the football coach. man, i was so pumped! I will always remember it. This has been very helpful. My Wife and I have been into Applied Martial Arts for years but always been sore for days later. Some guys at work recommended My Protein. Your video has helped guide us and reduce the anxiety of starting something new. Best of all, the combination of Creatine and Protein has really reduced the pain.
    I do have one topic to discuss; we have kids (7 & 10) who are very active and watch what we are up to, including these videos. Any advice to them about when in their life's they should consider Creatine and/or Protein supplements? For back ground they don't have allergies and have a standard, varied diet with the exception of fish as they aren't fans.

    I am a 24 year old woman who weighs 120 lbs. Ive been working out for years now and have recently added a protien powder to my routine. Hopefully, explaining this to my paranoid dad will help him feel more comfortable about leaving me alone when I take another scoop of my whey protien powder. He tried comparing the story of how my 40 year old uncle used to take some kind of pill to build muscle when he was in high school without working out making him 300lbs to me taking 1 scoop of protien powder a day or every other day. There is alot that is also linked to his obesity and my dad doesn't seem to understand that I have already done the research. Plus, my protein powder is the cheapest stuff out there from the brand elevation sold in Aldi. There isn't much in there to begin with and I am okay with that because I dont need much. I also love working out. I don't want to ever stop exercising. I am not in any sort of sports, so working out is a hobby of mine that I intend to keep up with. Thanks again for the great vid.
