    Someone should explain why London Underground has limited wifi services. It's more complicated than you imagine. The older tunnels are made with concrete and cast iron, so it's more than just the depth of the line. This isn't good for wifi. The London Underground is the oldest in the world; it is 160 years old, which means most of London's Tube tunnels twist and turn(bad for wifi) and are incredibly narrow - also bad for wifi. Later metro tunnels are much straighter and larger., ergo much easier to install wifi(e.g. Kyiv metro was launched in 1960). For the LU, installing and maintaining the necessary equipment in the older tunnels is almost impossible. It's certainly not economically justifiable. The platforms themselves will all have wifi in the next few years, but most tunnels will never receive wifi. It's not like you're in the tunnels that long, anyway.

    • @JohnnyFD
      @JohnnyFD  Год назад +3

      Stop making excuses for the UK's shitty infrastructure, it's a choice they've made. If they wanted to, they would already have 5G in each platform. Instead, they allow telcom companies to have exclusive contracts for Wifi which hides behind either a paywall or login.

  • @Lucky14970
    @Lucky14970 Год назад +1

    21:00 Anywhere that there's a winter season that has large amounts of snowfall inevitable ends up having "chewed up" roads. Because of the constant plowing, salt being dropped on the road which adds friction as well as wear and tear; unless said snowy place is ultra rich and can afford to re-pave their streets every (other)year than you will find roads as bad or much worse all over the world.
    Also, I'd be pretty confident in saying that a great majority of LARGE cities have this very same issue, mostly due to things like constant high amounts of run-through in and out traffic; As well as how seemingly ridiculously difficult it is to get busy roadways to shut down on any given "work week" day(when most union/city contractors/construction workers are scheduled to be at their job, as well as there are also noise ordinances that tend to keep construction from going on, yah know, at times like 3:30am and stuff... No one would be all that super pumped to be woken out of a deep sleep by something absurd like a jackhammer, construction vehicles and their loud ass reverse beep noises and so on...) So it's completely understood as far as anyone dumb enough to be overly critical about the current condition of Kyiv's inner-outer limit city streets. Plus, once again, Kyiv is currently in a seriously battle against Putin and Wagner, let's focus on what actually matters at this given time! >:-D
    As far as taking public transport and people acting like they'd rather be in your SUV... Apparently they don't or can't understand the beauty that comes with public transportation and the fun-filled art known as "people watching." Not in the weirdo stalker frame of reference, more like getting to meet new people, share idea's, maybe overhear about a public event somewhere nearby that really sounds like it might be super rad to go and hang out/explore, etc!
    Anyways Kyiv looks pretty groovin' right now! I know when I say this that it really is a statement coming from us all, "Can't wait to see who/what comes next!"

    You should be focusing your vlog on Russia blowing up the dam and the largest terrorist act to Ukraine ever. This is important. The entire region is flooded.

      This vlog/video was filmed late May, so the blowing of the dam hasn't occurred yet. There is at least 1-2 week delay in publication.

      Yes. Everywhere in the USA is the same. Some places actually do fill up, especially in California. However, the entire country isn't like California

    Does not look like there’s a war going there . Western media seems to portray that Ukraine is really in disarray but watching your videos , it is very normal there. People wearing nice clothes, dining in fancy restaurants and going about their business. But here thru local news , it shows stark images of Ukraine.

      It's not like active fighting is going on in every part of the country. Of course Kyiv looks fine, it's very far away from the frontline.

      Киев надежно защищен ПВО. Официальная статистика ударов по Киеву в мае 2023:
      Всего 17 ударов за месяц. Каждый второй день.
      Выпущено по Киеву:
      7 аэробаллистических ракет Кинжал
      13 баллистических ракет Искандер
      65 крылатых ракет х-101, х-555, Калибр
      169 ударных дронов Шахед 136
      Это похоже на войну?

      Because it's capital bro, our president is here, so its should be safe, unfortunately other citys doesnt have enough air defence system like patriot, thats why they are more struggling from distruction , but anyway, we should trying to live our normal life, with restaurants and bars, because should keep our buisness running , otherwise our economic will fall
