We saw them at the Rits, NYC in the 80s. We knew about them already and that is why we went to see them. I can't recall the opening act, but the fact that we were this close to them and enjoyed the show, was amazing. Loved and love their music.

That’s because we still had the Fairness Doctrine in affect during most of the 80’s. When it went away in 1987, all of this craziness started w regards to hyper politicized media. The Fairness Doctrine was holding sanity in place.
I haven't seen Love & Rockets since 1984 when they played at the Longhorn Ballroom... where the Sex Pistols played in 1977 on their ill-fated North American tour. I will see Love & Rockets again on June 15th here in Dallas. 2023. Quite a bit older now but I have great hair and am still quite handsome.
If only the masses actually listened and acted upon the state of affairs. How many generations will be able to cover this song before the freedom to do so has been lost?
