    Hey Jimmie, Congrats, on the start up. Be very careful with the vacuum pump security. I know of one wreck that was starved of oil because the mechanic forgot to put a nut on and that pump and it came loose. Subsequently, all the oil drained out and the pilot and passenger ended up in a rock pile. Not a good ending. But on another note. I’m glad to see this all coming together.....

    G, day Jimmy's World from Sydney, Australia.
    You have been productive in the restoration.
    Q&A
    1. Is this just an engine run-up or flying?
    2. Have you a registered tail number from the FAA?
    3. New plugs, two Bendix Magnetos, cylinders and pistons in good condition, new oil, charged battery, nil crossed over rubbing of hoses.
    Hose clamps secure, sensors new and wires protected/ insulated from vibration, dirt and heat.
    * air cooling over cylinder heads with duct and rubber aprons.
    👔

    • @therealjimmysworld
      @therealjimmysworld  3 года назад

      Hello sir!
      1. that was just the run up stuff to see what needs attention, I did the test flight today (video coming soon)
      2. The tail number stays with the plane (usually) and yes, it's all registered.
      3. yes to all that, that's what we were checking with the ground run to make sure all that stuff got installed correctly.
