  • This is Kennon Farrow, brought in for an interrogation following the case of his ex-girlfriend, Carla Williams
    Given the ample amounts of evidence against him, the detectives know kennon has no way out. So the main goal for this interrogation will be to get the answer to one important question ; why did he do it? A simple task, did not unfold as easily as the detectives had hoped because Kennon had a plan on how to sabotage this interrogation...

      That goes back since the beginning of time. Some groups of people have lived in societies where thats been frowned upon for millenia, while some only have for a few generations . The ones who have lived in societies with legal systems and judges have had longer to adapt and become socially conditioned to suppress any such thoughts or urges. They can control their emotions more successfully. Others cannot. Our modern society is not exactly what biology had in mind when we started as a species. Nearly every other mammal will resolve their disputes this way and not have any social consequences. Primal rage is permitted in nature, and unfortunately, many humans still carry that inherent primal behavior and cannot suppress it , unable to foresee the consequences. Theres still folks whos families have lived under similar legal systems since forever and still can't control themselves. After all, we dont have eyes on the sides of head to see predators behind us, nor do we have flat, square teeth. What we call violence and crime today, was just surviving 4000 years ago. So folks just can't get with the times

    • @johnlow810
      @johnlow810 Месяц назад

      @@kenw2225 That's very insightful and I guess a lot of it is true. It reminds me of an old Italian movie called "The 10th Victim" in where society has created a thing called The Big Hunt. The idea is that humans sign up for it and then hunt each other for sport, one of them assuming the role as the killer and one as the victim. It then plays out like a cat and mouse game where both parties have to outwit each other. Their reasoning for the hunt was exactly as you said, humans have these primal urges to kill that are impossible to get rid of and end up acted out through things like wars and other atrocities. By volunteering for this hunt, you get a chance every while to act it out. A good watch if you like movies with dystopian futures and beautiful women.

    Bipolar disorder comes in a massive spectrum. I hate how people instantly assume that is someone has bipolar disorder they are complete nutters.
    I have type 2 bipolar disorder. Im a mechanical engineer and I believe that I have done quite well in life considering the difficulties i have faced with mental illness.
    Many people accomplish some amazing things when they are manic. I have accomplished my biggest feats of my life while manic because it gives me the focus, energy and persistence to do incredible amounts of work over the space of several weeks.
    The problem is that after a manic episode, I fall into deep deep depression where I can't even get out of bed for months. My worst was 1.5 years.
    I have had to restructure my life to deal with my problems. I have started my own engineering consultancy business amd have a solid bunch of happy, repeat customers. It gives me the ability to finish a job amd then take the time necessary to unwind before the wheels fall off and I go into depression.
    Because of my lifestyle change, I have managed to go for 2 years without a single bout of depression (longer than a few days).
    It has allowed me to be a more productive member of society, increase my overall wellbeing, I make time to exercise. Also, because I not in a constant struggle with my own life, I'm also a much better and supportive partner. I am so grateful for my partner, because she supported me through all this crap and me neglecting her. I can finally be the support that I need to be!
    My rant is done. If you look close enough, everybody is ducked in the head in one way or another. A disorder like bipolar isn't the defining feature of a killer or general scumbag!
