After riding 60km in wilderness and 60km along the India-China border, we finally got a glimpse of the good road but at the same time, we're greeted by "Mighty" and "Overflowing" Indus River. The Road was completely submerged leaving no boundary between the river and the road, leaving us with confusion and despair. After 15min a J&K Roadways bus came as a savior and showed us the exact path to cross the water crossing. Finally, we were able to cross the stretch while powerful Tata 207 failed to cross.

Funny thing is I crossed it in same/worse state, and I was solo on Suzuki Gixxer, this was one of the most scariest point of my trip. No one any where near when I did it.
I am glad someone captured it, because I could not as I was out of storage space.

Yes, even we were scared when we reached there. There was no point in going back so we have to try it out. We were lucky that a J&K Roadways crossed first and showed us the way. Hats of to you for trying it solo.

Yes, Avanger 220 is totally comfortable bike. I have done a lot of bike rides with it and it never failed me. It is better than any other bike when it comes to long touring.

No it is not possible to cross the border. There is ITBP check post and they will ensure you don't cross the border by mistake. You can only cross the border when you leave the road which is not a good thing.

Hi admin. There is a new route to go to tsomoreri from pangong. After crossing sisul village there is cut which goes directly to nyoma via mitpal tso lake. Road is good .
