Yes but the main trick is to cross this early morning so that it can't damage your vehicle.
i plan visit choti dhara in june first
You can visit just take care of time. Cross early in the morning.
we got less water flow this year
Might be less rainfall the year you went. Do watch my other video on my channel. Recently I completed my North-East India Bike ride and uploading videos.
The river does not seem to be that dangerous...the main obstacle are the rocks under the stream..
amar99ify And the huge power loss due to the high altitude
It is not a river just a water stream formed by melting of water. Agree the main problem was rocks.
Why do these idiots try these crossings in non 4wd vehicles and block the way for everyone else
Everyone is adamant and want to reach destination ASAP that's why.
This is the condition of in roads aftwr 70 years, angrej nhi hote to darjeelong manali picnic spor nhi door daraj ke gao hi hote
You are wrong here. Road condition have improved drastically after India gained independence. Don't use one road as example to judge a country's progress.
O bhai ab pahar tor ke tere liye road banaye kya, ye Qudrat hai uar har jagah pange lena achi baat nahi.
Let nature be the way it is so that we can see its beauty. If you want to see roads, then go to polluted cities of U.P.
urban oldies amarnath ka king ab nahi banta kyuki logo aane jane se xlimate varry hota he refrigerator me ling bane ke rakhna padhta murkh logo k liye tab kaha jati chhed chhad duality he ye soch ne
Ha wo tum theek keh rahe ho ki ab Amarnath ko logo ne picnic spot bana liya hai jis se Artificial Ling banate hai log. Log murkh hai sale barf ki pooja karte ja rahe hai hahahahaha
No chance for hatchbacks even tho with 170+ ground clearance?
It depends on the time when you are trying to cross this. If you attempt in morning then even cars like Santro can cross this but when the water is at full might I will suggest 4WD car.
You can compare the amount of water the crossing has in morning vs in afternoon.
Knowledge Of India i want to take my Baleno. How should i plan my journey?
Hello Nubs, Yes you can take your baleno but make sure to cross the distance between Gramphu to Batal early in the morning i.e. before 8 AM. I have heard from many that they were able to cross their Alto in this pass. But If you to take my personal opinion, I would not recommend you taking Baleno there.
Knowledge Of India I have never driven to hill stations before so any precautions i need to take?
himachal sarkar sirf khana janti hi lagan nahi ye durbhagya hai hamari dev bhumi ka
I have visited a lot of places in Himachal Pradesh and I don't think roads in Himachal are bad. Its primarily the area where road is difficult to maintain.
Really
Did you hear about technology if not then see some roads of china on RUclips that came across the indian border
I know about the technology and roads, Dams in China. We are not here to compare with China and even in India there are fantastic roads at some of the highest points in the world. Kindly read about the weather condition at this particular stretch. Remember China dosen't have youtube, facebook, so these comparisons are useless.
if there is fantastic roads in himachal then why are you showing this stupid video
Because this was challenging. The water and terrain maid it tough. Moreover if this is a stupid video I wonder why are you watching this.
Bhai tata sumo ka naam hi kafi ha I, baki yaha innova or mahindra useless .
Agree with you....
I crossed this nala many time with bolero but sumo has one advantage it's ground clearance
They are not called nallas they are called water crossing sir
Then why a water crossing in Spiti is called Malling Nala?
@@KnowledgeOfIndia you are right sir... इसे नाला ही कहा जाता है... im from hp....
@@KaranNegiPawanAgree brother. This is called nala and I have crossed so many while riding in Sach Pass, Chansal Pass, leh and Spiti. On many places I saw sign board saying nala.
@@KnowledgeOfIndia दुबारा फ़िर आना sir हिमाचल में....
@@KaranNegiPawan बिल्कुल कर्ण भाई। आएंगे तो आपसे मिलेंगे भी।
The scorpio should not have stopped there
Don't you need special kind of cars to cross these types of roads?
Yes, a car with good ground clearance and if possible a 4WD car.
When will they make better roads
No road can withstand here due to the bad weather and negative temperature.
Innova urban wagon incapable to operate under such harsh condition.
Yes, he was trying to be smart but his smartness costed him.
sari suspension da satyanash Ho janda is road ute
yes. Suspension is the last thing you will bother here. First you will pray just to cross this.
hahahahaha
Knowledge Of India hey I had cross to many times OK yeh Tum logo ke llye hai prayer jinko life main ek bar mushkil se Jana nsib Hota hai main last 12 years se Himalaya ki roads per hi drive kr rihahan
Its good that you have crossed it many times but on a bad day these type of crossing can be a pain for anyone no matter how many times he has crossed it.
Atul Aggarwal beta kisi din fasega taab prayer hi karega. chutiya
But why r u all crossing ths road
To reach manali..
@MouaSPY if that happens, we Indians will pollute lahaul & spiti in no time... Already with these roads, tourism is at peak, imagine if the roads are built, every other person who doesn't know what is traveling, will come here and pollute such beautiful locations... Right now, majority is of adventurers, if they build roads, these places would become like Metro Cities...
Not Manali but to Reach Kaza.
We needed to cross this to reach the Spiti Valley.
Is pani ko maharasthra bheg do ...karnatak bheg do
We can't do things which are not in our control. Lets enjoy it till it lasts.
Tempo wala to driver hi ghda hai
Actually you can't blame any one here. Situation was so messy that everyone was helpless. Even truck were getting stuck.
Humri politician ko sharm b nahi aati in road par saffar kartay huy...
jamyang choephel fool these roads are covered in snow for 7-8 months, then water running on them when snow melts. These roads are not dry even for a single day lol. My advice, just don't comment like a random pussy that has no idea of this place and these routes . Lol
Try to understand the geography of the region. It is not that India or the local authorities are not capable of building roads. In fact Himachal has some of the best roads when in comes to Himalayas. This particular stretch remains under snow for 8 months making it nearly impossible to maintain.
Tata cars and buses are better than toyota
Any car which can cross this is a better car.
very easy crossing made diffcult by rookie and fool riders and drivers
ghar pe baith kar bolna assan hai.
Might be easy for you. But for all who were present there it was difficult for them.
Tata is best
Any 4WD vehicle is best for this stretch.
Must be hell o the tyres!
Its really hell and its the same situation every year. Just saw few updates of this year and situation is similar to past year.
Inova me dum nahi
It depends on the area where you are driving. It performs well in all places but this terrain is really challenging.
HIMACHAL PRADESH is as same as rest of NE states
There's nothing much different at all
No North-East Different. I traveled in North East for 60 days. You can see my videos of North east.
himachal road
They are good and adventurous both.
