    Almost died there. This is nothing.We went during monsoon. Water was above thigh level. Our bike not only stuck but slipped towards river. Our feet froze like an ice. Thanks to localites and fellow passengers for saving us.

      Yes it is risky riding bike in such a turbulent flow. Best way to cross this is by pushing one bike at a time. If you will give too much load on engine, you clutch plate will fail.

    This video reminded me of my drive to Spiti valeey which I did in September 2019. But when I crossed this part water level was not as dangerous as in this video. My Maruti Ritz car got stuck in an incline just ahead of this crossing. But with help of fellow travelers and some locals I was able to get my car across the incline. Video of my car getting stuck can be seen on my channel.

    वैसे यह रोड स्पीति के लिए लगभग 5 महीने के लिए ही सही पर स्पितियों के लिए बहुत ही ज़रूरी रास्ता है इसी रोड के ज़रिए सर्दियों का सारा राशन स्टॉक, गैस, तेल, लकड़ी, जैसे ज़रूरी समान आते हैं। और स्पीति में जो मटर की खेती होती है इसी रोड के ज़रिए दिल्ली एवम अन्ये मंडियों में जाते हैं। और टूटिस्ट एक जरिया है थोड़े पैसे बनाने का लेकिन इन खस्ता हालत रोड की वजह से कुछ खास हो नही पता। नेता अपने जेब और पेट फुलाने में मस्त है और स्पीती वासी अपने आप मे मस्त है। इस रोड का खास्ता हालात सिर्फ कुछ समय के लिए नही होता यह तो परमानेंट है चाहे सरकार किसी की भी रही हो। सभी डिस्ट्रिक की नेता हो या आला अधिकारी सभी इसी रोड से आते जाते है मगर हैरानी होती है कि किसी को कोई शर्म नही। टूरिज़म डिप्लोमेन्ट की बड़े बड़े बातें करते है लेकिन सचाई यही है कि यात्री नालो में सड़क खोजते फिरते हैं।

    • @KnowledgeOfIndia
      @KnowledgeOfIndia  5 лет назад +1

      बिल्कुल सही बात। क़ज़ा में होने वाली मटर की खेती इसी रास्ते मनाली ओर बाकी जगह जाती है। रास्ता कितना भी खराब क्यों इस हो पर स्पिति में रहने वालों के लिए बहुत जरूरी है।

    All dear friends if you think why local authorities not built or bridge in that portion.then I explain to you little bit:-
    when water comes from mountains then very large & big rocks are also coming with it. When you see video then you also know the size of rocks also.These big rocks damaged roads and even flyovers also which are tried to make before in early years in 80's. These are extreme offroading Himalayan tracks

      @@hashvauthkumar The RPM(rotations per minute)of the tire(not engine) increases when you move from lower gear to a higher one for the same energy spent. But here we need more torque to roll on uneven path. so 1 st gear gives more torqur .. if you try same in 2 nd gear then u need to use half clutch to not to stall engine. using half clutch gives less torque, consume more fuel and damage friction of the clutch

      Before commenting you need to understand two things, one the geography of the region and second the concept of connectivity. So the road remains under snow for 7-8 months of the year therefore be it bridge or road it will be inaccessible. Second Kaza remains connected to other parts of Himachal via the second road from Rekong Peo. This road is only operational for 4-5 months a year so it is in such condition.

These are extreme offroading Himalayan tracks.
