The Truth Behind Kill Bill's Coffin Punch | Mythbusters | Discovery
• The Truth Behind Kill ...
Seeing Grant in these old clips is tough.
How you going to post just half the story?
There's gotta be a part 2 to this
The comic while they were explaining the myth was a cool homage to the animated sequence in Kill Bill Vol. 1
Quick burial, so unlikely it was six feet down, nor packed. Making it *more* plausible for the story, if not for real life. Interesting how I don't recall that particular flaw in the premise when I watched originally.
Thanks for wasting 8min and AND 27sec of my life! Im so thankful for that...😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
Notoriously known "lay and pray" wrestler Jon Fitch who hadn't any KOs in his resume? Really?
I know this is old but i find it hilarious that they went to AKA to find an mma fighter that punches hard and they picked jon fitch of all the guys there lol
ikr - notoriously known "lay and pray" wrestler Jon Fitch who hadn't any KOs in his resume? Really?
Kari looking fine in the yellow suit, damn 😛
Grant imahara 🫡🫡🫡🫡
where part 2?
where is the rest?
RIP Grant
I miss mythbusters so much.
Bad form posting only half of the myth and then going to your pay site. Let us know in the title if it's not the whole thing.
As usual you don't have reality. Not that KB is reality you don't have a real punch. This is a kung fu punch not pos mma fighter.
Are you one of those holdouts from the 00s who still thinks a kung fu specialist could beat an mma fighter
The UofM cu tyburro of Sorry Hull
But had already?
You need to have someone who is skilled at the 2 inch punch like Caradine was.
He was also highly skilled at AutoErotic Asphyxiation.. 😂😂
So the myth was...confirmed? Plausible? Busted?
are they stupid? why mma guy with gloves punches. would it hurt to get some kung fu practitionar who has trained one inch punch etc
I'm surprised there's a device that can measure punch-strength. That seems like such an oddly specific piece of technology.
Its just a general force sensor.
Also what about oxygen supply and the dirt caving in on the character?
This is stupid, they don't even use a wooden coffin, or a person to punch through it.
You'd rather see them break their hands?
Beatrix did it barw handed as well... Sooooooio!
There's one thing wrong with the test from the mmma fighter...
There was no glove worn by the actor
late reply, but it was calibrated before the test. at 4:58 you can see he had the glove weighed to tare the scale, so it would only measure the force of his bare fist
The dirt is loose
RIP Grant 🫡
I forgot how painfully early 2000s this show is
I used this machine. I had 980lb at 3in. And 8k from downtown. No gloves.
