Wow, that typing test actually sounded really good? That's impressive. I saw the keyboard cost only $110 on Asus's USA store. Having seen inflated prices on some of Genny Box's other videos, I'm thinking they live in a country like Canada or Australia. The point is, $110 is really a pretty good deal. From what I've seen here, I would consider the things I normally dislike about gaming keyboards and amplifies them to such an insane degree that I end up liking it. This is one of the few times RGB underglow has appealed to me. It uses an extra-ridiculous gamer font and hot pink accents. By the way, "gamer" fonts serve a real purpose: their extra-thick lettering lets more RGB light shine through. The extra wide CTRL key is normally a nuisance, but this is so wide that it might actually improve the key's reliability while gaming. There are a few other good things to note: the use of standard Cherry MX switches is good, it increases the longevity of the keyboard by making the switches both durable and replaceable. The use of a standard USB-C cable is also nice to see because it makes cable routing easier. The only drawback of this keyboard is that the keycaps look like laser-etched ABS. They won't look or feel "perfect" for as long as doubleshot PBT keycaps, but considering that PBT caps cost $30 on their own and this keyboard costs $110 overall, (again, USA pricing) that's completely acceptable. You also don't get a volume wheel, which is legit my favorite part of my Corsair K70 keyboard, but again, it's $110 and comes with a unique (imo awesome) look. My verdict would be, if you like the aesthetic of this keyboard, go ahead and get it. If you think the keyboard looks stupid, and you're just looking for a cheap board that you can modify to match your theme, look elsewhere. You'll just end up spending the money you tried to save getting custom keycaps and other accessories.
This was a good review. I see you took my (and probably other people's) advice about the gloves. The only issue I had this time was that the second game you played (the blue dude in the fishbowl helmet shooting fireballs) looked to be having framerate issues. It was distracting.
