    Mattpatt's main problem here is he's clicking multiple times when confirming an animatronic as haunted. If it isn't haunted, it lowers the stability of it, and when the stability is gone, jumpscare by that animatronic. So far, the ghost doesn't seem to attack you directly, and all deaths appear to be from guessing wrong too many times without repairing them.

    Guessing the wrong character once wont get you killed, but guessing the same character twice will lower the stability of that character too much and result in a game over.

      Also, a good tip for when you guess the wrong character would be to call them towards you immediately after to make repairs since at that point you would know they aren't haunted.

    On behalf of the dev team, we are super happy to see you playing this! We really hope you're enjoying the game, and we can't wait to see you finish it up :)
    See your resolution got a bit iffy in the barrens. Unfortunately that's pretty common, firefly is notoriously unreliable as a 3D engine. We're still working hard to patch out everything, and hopefully that is one thing we can get resolved in the future
    Actually, appears you're playing on an outdated version which may be the cause of the resolution issue along with the lack of info in regard to figuring out the hauntings. V1.2.3 should help clear up confusion
    Seeing some struggles with the handprints so I'll help out real quick. The haunted animatronic will leave a handprint when leaving a camera, so watching one until they leave is usually a good strat. Be sure two don't leave at the same time as that is tricking you sometimes. Making a wrong guess will lower an animatronic's stability

    I am REALLY questioning Matpat's detective skills here. (Game goes whoosh!)
    ASH!!! Help for the game:
    In short:
    Flickering Lights, Ghost IN room.
    Hand Smudge, Ghost LEFT the room.
    BB's Stability glitching, it's him!
    Marionette is only heard, never seen.
    Cam movement that isn't yours, Ghost in Room.
    Connection Lost, find the one that you can't see.
    Then there's... Well, can't ruin that final night...

      @@vaporean_boylove.0w083 Not really since they made an update that massively decreased the difficulty for the final night by adding a checkpoint, better explaining the tips, and slowing the you know what's amount of activity/progress speed on the cams.

    1. Once you guess the first ghost correctly, it takes a minute for the ghost to possess another animatronic. The time in between is the "down time" that you should use to call animatronics for repairs.
    2. You keep pressing the possession button twice. The first time, if you guessed incorrectly, it doesn't tell you that you guessed wrong, but it does lower the stability of that character by 50 points. The second time you hit the button on the same character, it lowers the stability of that character down to 0 and causes it to jump scare you.
    3. The key to the handprints is to find an animatronic that is alone, watch it until it disappears, and see if it leaves a handprint. If it did not leave a handprint, it's not possessed.
    4. Love the jacket's pattern. Definitely agree with Ash about the color needing to be more saturated and darker. I totally see what you're going for in having the colors not be neon and having the dark grey cuffs and collar. I think the zipper should match the collar and cuffs.

    Fun fact: the cameras in this game are those weird bulb-like cameras that you see in most buildings these days that have a full 360 view and such. You can tell just by the hand prints/smudges because they aren't on the actual lens which means that the cameras have those glass/plastic domes that modern day security cameras have which is weird since those cameras shouldn't exist during the time period.

    There's something wrong with your game MatPat. Usually, when you talk to Paulbear, there should be other text bubbles because your character is supposed to talk as well.
    In your game, your character doesn't speak back to Paulbear which is really weird, it makes you miss some details

    As others have said, a few misunderstandings here
    - There's only one possessed animatronic at a time. Once you correctly identify the haunted one, there's a period of time where *no one* is possessed.
    - If you select the wrong animatronic, you won't be alerted that you're wrong. The only thing that happens is their stability drops by 50. Meaning you can get a game over on the wrong animatronic if their stability is low.
    - Balloon Boy is the easiest to identify, as you'll see their stability glitching. As far as I know, he is not seen at all on the cameras.
    - If there's a handprint and an animatronic in a room, wait untill they leave to see if they make a new one. Handprints seem to form when characters are shifting, so keeping track of whose in a room before a handprint appears is key.

    For that last attempt and fail, you GOT Chica! The REAL problem was you didn’t WAIT until the ghost inhabited a new animatronic. MatPat essentially killed himself in the most pointless kind of move. (Not that I blame him)

      Actually at that point he killed himself anyways by never repairing any of the animatronics. Also that technically wasn't the most pointless move he's made during this video since he kept guessing the same animatronics over and over again until he died.

    Fun fact: when matpat talks to paulbear he forgot the very important detail to not be on his face which made him miss a lot of important dialogue on the bottom half that belonged to the character he's playing as
    That's why when he talks to paulbear at some points the box with the bears dialogue disappears (because it's the character's turn to talk)

      I think that's actually just because the recording issues that are mentioned at the beginning of the game. The dialogue is meant to be embeded into your screen, so your POV shouldn't matter.

    Notes for the future!
    - If balloon baby’s stability is glitching, he’s haunted, so always check stability as soon as the ghost enters a new animatronic.
    - The ghost only haunts one animatronic at a time, they can repeat the same animatronic within the same night, as well as doing the same animatronic multiple times in a row.
    - Dawko found it to be easier to shove marionette into the conveyor and just speed run the rest of the night so you don’t have to worry about her sound cue.
    - Smudged Hand prints will show up after they leave
    - there are two other haunting signs that aren’t explicitly mentioned: an animatronic moving the camera or a camera losing signal
    - not a gameplay note but you’re missing dialogue from the player cause you’re looking up too high during the paulbear cutscenes

    Idea for jacket fine tuning: The cuffs and collar are too dark. Maybe a nice baby blue for both instead of grey.

      Idk…maybe something that’s like a possibly slightly hotter pink or a lighter blue. Grey isn’t terrible but maybe darken it and make it closer to a light shadow in the background that’s being cast onto your body instead of a weird grey that’s just…there… and other than that maybe up the contrast actually for higher shades if you want it shiny and maybe make another jacket similar that’s more like a shadow that would be done by lowering contrast. Listen, I’m not good at photoshop or making pictures so if this is a bad move please let me know but I think heightening the contrast and adding a tinge or two of brightness would make it look really shiny and cute. Again, not a master and it’s purely my opinion, just like the rest of these comments.

    1:06:53 - What happened here was if an animatronic reaches 0 stability, either on it's own or if you guess incorrectly BEFORE the ghost enters a new suit, the game will display the previously haunted animatronic.
    Mat pat got it right but he didn't give the ghost a chance to haunt a new animatronic.

    an idea for the jacket is changing up the hue on the sleeves to get a colorblock effect. About the saturation; the biggest thing is that the top part is too greyish pink and makes the rest look muddy, making that top color more vibrant purple or pink will do wonders :)

    If you darken the jacket I feel as if it would give more motherboard vibes. Currently the pastel colors give it a different taste. I think keeping the jacket light but don’t be afraid to try out options with dark colors.

    Edit: Jacket’s a yay, but needs more vibrant color. Also don’t care for shoulder things or pocket flaps. Zipper pockets are a big plus for me though, I don’t trust those things.

    While the fingerprints take a little longer to understand. What's really getting him is stability. The game over hints are actually helpful to what you're not understanding Matt. "Call non-haunted characters on the conveyor for repairs in down time" it's giving you that message because you're false reporting them twice. 1 time drastically lowers stability and 2 times gives you a jumpscares cuz of the loss of stability. The game over hint for BB "Balloon baby's stability glitches" just treat him like the others and report him. There's no "fixing" him. Calling a haunted animatronic to the conveyor most likely gives you a game over too.
    Also, what I learned from a dev comment. Keep an eye out for the phone blinking or ringing. That’s another sign that the ghost is in the room.

    I think that zipper flap could definitely go. From my experience, the zipper usually gets caught on those things and gets stuck. Perhaps for the zipper we can actually go with a bit of a darker green or some color to really fit the rest of the colors on the jacket.

    Im waiting for Matpat to realize that guessing an animatronic lowers their stability and it is a bad idea to guess the same animatronic more than once

      In his defense, there's no feedback from the game when he gets it wrong the first time, so he likely thinks that the button just didn't work right.

      @@Hellknight101 No. He literally just doesn't pay attention to anything is all. BB was literally sitting there having a literal stroke on the stability menu for a solid 30-45 seconds as MatPat is deciding on who to guess. That just shows that he isn't paying attention to anything at all. Almost everyone, except MatPat apparently, caught onto that almost immediately so, in other words, yes it is obvious. It's actually quite ironic since he's known for spotting very small things in stories that a lot of people don't notice, but when it comes to actually playing the games he is literally blinder than a bat with the stuff everyone spots immediately.

In his defense, this can happen with some people who find trouble to concentrate on a general overview of a situation.       @@crazyclown2269 I agree... I honestly believe that the jacket would work well as a zip-on hoodie if it were darkened and saturated. Maybe have the lighter colors be bright--make the colors look like something from TRON--glowing bits illuminating the rest? Like they are "lights," and some are "activated," while others are "off?" Extremely saturated and bright strips to break-up the monotony of the darkened saturated base of the jacket? If you get what I mean. Make the design asymmetrical? If not that, then have the hoodie where it "illuminates" more around the hood? And if you want to keep the current design, you could make the "hoodie" part a zip-on hood, give yourself the option to have a removable hood.

    Jacket Thoughts (I am very invested in the design for some reason): I agree with the sunbleached vibes not really contributing to the design, and I think the original idea of making it holo fits the print better (but maybe only making it holographic/shiny in certain places? like just using it for detailing?) and if you do end up darkening the the colours then I think making the zipper a bright or neon colour could make up for it, or you could just make the collar/cuffs and zipper all match :) okay I'm done lol
    Edit because I lied I have more notes: the epaulets are weird but that also might just be cause they're a little too long? they look kind of loose, if they laid more flat on your shoulder area it might not look as off. Pocket flaps don't bug me personally BUT I feel like there should be zippers on the pockets because zipperless pockets are unreliable and stuff falls out of them

    Matpat asking for the balloon boy tip to directly tell you when he is haunted is like asking for the answer to a question you don't understand. They gave you a good hint and I think that's all they really should do. The game wouldn't be as fun if you knew immediately one of the characters mechanics. At least you got a solid hint to point you towards the right direction.

      For anyone thats wondering, the original developer spammed other fangames to get JR's rating higher. The page was taken down, and the developer (Ramenov) was banned, though another dev by the name of Darroc took over and basically saved JR'S

      @@vilnyx9437 ramenov was a part of the pear controversy where they were I think gathering leaks of other fnaf fan games to use with blackmail or stuff I’m not 100% sure. That said ramenov was the head of the game but worked with many others and after the drama gave control over to another dev the drama shouldn’t be spread to the team that put all the effort into this game

    when you identify a ghost correctly, you get downtime which means theres no ghost. during downtime, youre supposed to call the non haunted ones to the conveyor belt to raise their sanity until the ghost repossesses. i havent actually played the game but thats what ive caught onto during this video, i hope this helps!

    for the jacket a few things: First, I would say to remove whatever is like...over it? the pattern looks cool but this shine or texture over it makes it muddy and almost too much. Also, with the cuffs, maybe contrasting more. they seem to be a more offish of a dark color, and again feeling that sorta washed out kinda look. i think making it darker or or OR doing maybe neon green cuffs and collar or a pink cuff and blue cuff and green for the collar. i just feel like the design needs to show more, and right now it feels like it is messy almost???? idk

    You were missing half of the dialogue in the Barrens. Adjust Scale and Layout on Windows from 125% (the default) to 100%. This will make it so you can see the protagonist's dialogue when you're in the Barrens. I had the problem mylef, haha.

    Matpats playing Jr's, he's a smart guy, he won't take ages to figure the basics out....
    I was wrong.
    Description on what he's missing below* information may be outdated, thank you to the eagle eyed theorist who point this out.
    When BB is haunted, his stability level will glitch out, so select him. He gives no other clues since he cannot be seen on camera, same as marionette.
    Also it COSTS 50 stability to test for haunting, you can guess and immediately send for repair, because if you've tested for haunting and it only took 50 stability, it's safe to send to conveyor for repair, since you know he isn't haunted.
    You can guess and get pretty far, so guess and eliminate.
    Someone else has no doubt already said this but I hope the information gets to you.
    I think they leave hand marks on the camera.

      Actually in the new update for the game not only was Ramenov's message secretly removed by darroc(which is why the patch notes were hidden), but all lot of the game was updated in different ways such as instead of guessing an animatronic incorrectly costing 50% of their stability it now costs 30% of their stability. One of the devs even commented on this video saying that he's playing on an outdated version of the game which is more difficult than the current version. So some of your information is actually outdated and could lead people astray.

They are still struggling more than expected (the BB tip was obvious and you should just expect the button didn’t work if it doesn’t immediately say you’re right) but I wouldn’t assume it’s because of the update since the most recent update was on Wed

    Mat I've noticed is getting Bonnie and Fred switched! Here's what Ive noticed, Bonnie ALWAYS holds his guitar, and has much longer ears then Freddy in all camera spots! Hope this helps!

    I really like the jacket. I definitely agree with darkening the design like Matpat said. I would also get rid of the epaulets and the pocket flaps, though I'm always a big fan of zipper pockets in my jackets. If you put invisible zippers for the pockets, you could use a color similar to the darker sections of the design and it would give the jacket a really sleek appearance.

    I agree on the colors for the jacket, they are too dull & dusty looking. They should bring up the saturation & darken the colors. And the flaps on the pockets are weird, and seem out of place. But otherwise a very cool looking jacket Matpat.

    What I think happened at the end:
    The prompt saying that "The ghost has entered a new animatronic" had not appeared yet when Matt tested Foxy. So when he tested Foxy, which lowered his stability to the point of a jumpscare, the game still said Chica was haunted cause that was the last animatronic that was actually haunted. There was not a new haunted animatronic yet, but I do not know if an animatronic can be haunted more than once, sooo yea

      They can be. I've seen numerous people have the ghost re-enter the same animatronics. I've seen Foxy get haunted 3 times in a row once.

      They can be haunted more than once. Markiplier experienced that in his playthrough, with the Marionette. It got haunted twice in a row.

    Notes on Jacket: I personally love pocket flaps UNLESS they can't be buttoned down because, at that point, what is the point of the flap? This is also a GREAT excuse to use a fun shaped button because of all the geometric shapes on the jacket. And maybe make it match the collar and cuffs to blend those in better.
    I agree that it does seem to faded. What might be cool is to up the saturation of only a couple of the more key colors. Your yellows and pinks maybe?
    Also, make the cuffs a navy blue or a dark version of 1 of the other colors. Maybe a dusty dark red? Its WAY to jarring in the dark gray. Looks like you killed another jacket to finish this one. Or match it to 1 of the other colors more closely if you want it to blend more totally.

    jacket thoughts: very cool overall! i actually quite like the more pastel coloration, and i think it's the collar/cuffs/inner lining that's making it look dusty. a lighter version of all of those (baby blue, maybe?) will probably make it a lot smoother and more cohesive! though, green is a pretty big part of the brand, and the lining color on the cuffs/collar would work a lot better if you did what you suggested to the colors. side thought: maybe making a baggier version of the jacket could be interesting. not just bigger, but instead with a rounder sleeve, a more triangular shape, etc :)

    My thoughts on the canon JR's (I'm sure thousands have said this already) are either:
    - Afton hadn't started killing yet (why he's not yet purple) and had been super aggressive at the bar to get his violence jollies, so he got barred.
    - or JR's animatronics are as big as the others, but are baby Muppet~style designed so the gang look super cute (which I think would be terrifying!!).
    Only 14 mins into this first playthrough and am looking forward to the rest!!

    Ash is right about the jacket looking like it's been out in the sun for awhile. The colors definitely need to be brighter, but not too bright that they're neon, maybe pastel is the best way to go.
    As for the collar and cuffs; they'd be better off as black. The zipper should also be black. And I like the idea of it being holographic or having the pattern on a black background

    I don't mind the muted colors of the jacket, but I could see how a deeper saturation would make it work better. A higher collar, or even a larger one almost like a greaser's jacket would be interesting.
    Personally it's too busy of a piece for me, as a larger dragon it would just make one look wide... not a look I'm going for. 😆

    I like the pastel coloring (I love pastel rainbow in general) and patterns, I agree on the other things you pointed out like the green zipper and epaulets being less desireable. I also don't like the brighter green on the inside or the lime green on the epaulets. I think it could be cool to have a couple not-so-bright rainbow/mult-color jackets. A pastel and darker one, think celadon or seafoam green for pastel jacket and sacramento or kaitoke green for the darker jacket. Or, looking at pink and blue as you mentioned, for pinks maybe lemonade or mulberry pink and blues maybe dark saphire or uranian blue. Overall more muted colors than you would typically use.

    My first thought as I started this video was basically "oh my gosh I want a jacket like that please say it's going to be merch," so it's definitely a yes from me for the overall concept. I agree that the effect of the color right now seems old/faded rather than simply muted, so that could use some tweaking, as you say, but I do like the idea of the colors being soft/almost pastel rather than in-your-face bright. Looking forward to how the final product turns out!

    Guessing the wrong animatronic as haunted can lower the stability by, I would say, about 20. So clicking twice on the same animatronic will cause a jumpscare if your stability is low. The reason that you got jump scared after you guessed chica at the end is because you didn't allow the ghost to possess another animatronic. Every single time a animatronic is possessed, at the top of the screen, it says a new animatronic is possessed. When guessing correctly as to, which animatronic is possessed, there is a bit of downtime where nobody is possessed yet and the ghost hasn't possessed anybody. The game is not timed, you can play the game for long as you want.

    I can't be the only one who facepalmed when Matpat asked "Was I supposed to see haunted handprints maybe?" right after skimming over 2-3 handprints, and looking at Chica directly through one of them. (In all fairness they are easy to miss, but after seeing someone play through the whole game before it does tend to be a facepalm moment.)

    The funny thing about the handprint smudges on the camera lenses is that you actually need a really small hands to do that. The actual camera lens should be pretty small so a normal sized hand would completely cover it rather than leaving a handprint.

    MattPatt, you need to think of this part of the game like Among Us with the ability to correct your mistake if you get it wrong. As dumb as that sounds, it really helps.
    If you accuse the wrong animatronic, IMMEDIATELY call them in for repairs and do so before accusing another one.
    Possesed Balloon Boy's stability meter glitches out.
    Everyone else will be located in the room with the flickering lights, with a possesed Marionette being outside of the camera's view range (use the speaker button to listen out for music).
    You can also eliminate suspects by watching the camera's for *those who left the room,* as the ghost usually leaves handprints when they leave the room.
    The ghost will not possess an animatronic that is already on the conveyor belt, but be careful not to call one in after you see the notification. The ghost only needs a nanosecond before you press the call button before you accidentally send them on their way to you.
    You can do this, MattPat. Find the suspicious ghost and eject them out of their hiding spot!

    For the jacket, I was actually thinking how much I loved the color and pattern before you brought it up. I like the pastel kinda colors. I don't know how much you can sharpen the color while maintaining a pastel look, but I'd love merch that is lighter in color. I don't like the cuffs at all, they make the sleeves look shorter and a little uncomfortable. Personally, I'd like to see longer sleeves. I agree about the epaulettes and pocket flaps being kinda meh/unnecessary.

    I personally really like the jacket, I love a more pastel palette, and the pattern is futuristic looking, it's a combo you don't really see together. I wouldn't mind if it was holographic or more shiny, but I don't think it'd make that big of a difference? The pattern gives that off naturally...

    From watching FuzionZgamer's playthrough, I can tell you these things: If you mark an anamatronic that isn't haunted, It won't directly tell you that you are wrong but the anamatronic's stability will go down by 50. That's why you keep losing by guessing again. The hand smudges are left behind so they can only help you if you saw someone leave it there. If BB's stability is glitching, he is guaranteed haunted and that is the only way you know. You can't see him on cams. That is everything. Also, when you talk to PaulBear, you're supposed to see what your character is saying. That's why some of his responses seemed weird. The ending to this game is great and definitely worth it. Fuzion would often just guess each anamatronic until he got it right.

      Actually it was updated to help balance the nights by making it to where an incorrect guess lowers stability by 30% instead of 50%, but if animatronics begin to reach low stability (25%) it will cause all of them to lose stability faster now as well so, for example, if all six animatronics reach low stability levels at the same time they'll all possibly start to lose up to a maximum of like 6% for every tick that naturally lowers their stability. So you should probably not go off of Fusionzgamer's videos since he even mentions in one of his videos that they were going to release a big balancing update.

    The talking on the bottom (aka you) isn't appearing in the Paulbear cutscenes, and the handprint appears when they leave the room. and please do not select a character multiple times, it counts it as soon as you let go of space. When you see Balloon Baby's stability glitching, select him. You can also figure out who it is, and just repair everyone else before select them out.

    theory: JRS is actually a place owned by Henry Emily or a relative of his. Then, WA went to JRS to reminisce about his childhood and how good FFP was turning out to be but after Henry Emily left the pizzeria everything died down. He was probably thrown out of JRS after seeing the animatronics and causing a scene.

    *Haunted animatronics only leave handprints as they leave a room
    *Balloon Baby's only "tell" is the glitching stability, the hand smudges are to throw you off as he does not appear in the cameras.
    *Only one animatronic is haunted at a time.
    *I believe that every animatronic can go into any room.

    The collar and cuffs should like be the same colour in a different shade, or a grey base. Either way should likely match the zipper, which could be made chunkier and given a cover.
