Also, game gives sound cues when they approach you close, its very quiet just like FNAF 4 so i would suggest to wear headphones because the sounds also come from different angles and you have to know where you hear them to understand their next move. Be careful with the new characters who are coming for you, they will behave different and when u loose to a jumpscare, there is a note that gives u a tip. We wish you goodluck and hope that you can beat all the game and discover the Truth behind the ending of the game! You wont be disappointed! Yeah I think that the doll reference was from one of the fazbear frights books, the one specifically where the nightguard falls asleep during every shift with a minirina on his desk, then he wakes up shortly after with it being gone. It turns out that the Minirina's were crawling into his body through his mouth as he slept.

If you continue playing this, I would highly recommend either cranking the volume up or using headphones. Directional audio cues are huge in this. Matt didn't even hear the giant *thunk* when Fredbear hit the door
I just realised the line on the phone on Wednesday in the game stating that William studied Child psychology is quite dark, as this is hinting that he used what he learnt to cause the missing children incidents
Hey MatPat! I commented this under one of Markipliers videos on this game, but in that glitch at 35:47, there's actually a really cool reference to FNAF Plus! Amid the flashes, there are a bunch of pieces of text, but only two show up at the same time, those being "it will catch you ready or not" and "close your eyes and say goodbye to spring." These are parts of the lyrics of a song played in one of the trailers for FNAF Plus!
I thought that was really cool, and thought it might be nice to mention. Anyways, I hope I taught some people something new, and hope everyone reading a great day!
Edit: Just thought I would make a list of all the text pieces that show up (Help the lore hunters XD)

I know Mark found a secret code for the number pad. They should look that up.
As for the animatronics, there's two Fredbears and two Bonnies.
The first two of them can be "caught" with the flashlight at the door so you can close it on them.
The second two are trickier. You have to pay attention to the doorway for one and when the other is going to rush on the cams.
Mark did figure them out, hence why he beat the game.
Though there is ONE spoiler I'll say, there's a "Real Time Mode".

None of the actual FNAF games scared me. But this, this is truly horrifying. I cannot comprehend how scared I was when I saw an animatronic at my door, even the newer models.

The boss guy on the tapes does such a good job with the "sleezy used car salesman" voice. It really drives home that they are not OHSA compliant and there will be no workman's comp.

No the png og fnaf games are garbage. Freeroam could work if it was executed better. Security Breach is still one of the best fnaf games gameplay wise

SOMETHING about the choices they made in animating their animatronic jump scares (like the literal jump screen itself) is just so good and genuinely made me jump more than any canon or fan FNAF game mat's played and I love that (I think it's the literal lunge forward motion idk)

Saw Mark, the king himself play this, and its one of the most terrifying fnaf fan games out there. Reminds me of Joy of creation from way back in 2016-17 with how scary it is.

Something I noticed, the first two nights the animatronics didn't move that much.
But when the murder incidents happened, they were extremely aggressive.
i really did not expect to hear mat say "WILLRY FOR LIFE" today but i will take it in stride
I remember the original few fnaf fangames that existed before the big ones like five nights at candys or humptys or whatever. They basically seemed like just heavily modded fnaf 1 with random crazy animatronics, and now they're their own fleshed out games with their own spin on lore. It's been really cool watching this series and fanbase grow over the years.

This HAS to be the best FNAF fangame I've seen so far. The lore, the graphics, and, as Matt and Ash said, the voice acting really makes it. So glad I got to see you guys play this! Also, Matt saying "I ship it!" and "Helliam" made my day.

I'd have to say I think The Joy of Creation is still the best FNAF game, at least in terms of scares.
But, yeah this is definitely up there among the best of the best.

@@chicabear Ash may edit some of these but of the people that do edit the GTLive videos there’s one person that blesses us with glorious screams of horror because some of the “horror” game streams don’t have the same kind of opening even if there is an applicable moment in the video somewhere.
So let's think and see if we can't figure out who did the edit. Or better yet let's just think.
The title is This fnaf fan game broke me. Sounds baity, however how was matpat broken. Well the cold open shows up that. The cold open is just a clip of an interesting moment.
Now given the title mixed with Matpat talking about 8 bit Ryan. It would be injustice not to have a broken Matpat as a cold open.
Now for the possible editors.
So each channel as we know has its own creative director (including Gtlive).
So the question is who is the creative director. Well in the past we know there was times that Jason/Chris would pick games for Mat when there wasn't big headline indie games.
However that was a simpler time. Now when the first moved to NC we know Amy was doing the edits for Gtlive. Because someone broke the 4th wall and spoke to a Matpat in text form.
Now if the Amy's are the same person, we learnt in a style theory video (The shower one) we learnt Sam has Amy's old job. Which other videos through Gtlive before style theory. Amy referred to her job as always interest because of the different day to tasks. Kinda like a Jack of trade role.
Now if your thinking about the dungeon of editors like Editor Dan. We can rule them out because of the other channels.
To have the kind of turn around time the other channels have. Needs dedicated editors.
So here is what we can piece together.
Ash - Operator, Channel Runner, Editor.
Sam - Back up Editor for Ash
Joesi- back up to the back up.

This game could easily pass as an official fnaf game. It’s the best fnaf fan game I’ve seen.
I think it's worth noting that the death screens appeared to have some advice on identifying the upcoming jumpscares. It wasn't easy to read them but that's definitely the impression I got from what we could see!
The portal references are amazing. Cave Johnson is definitely the type of guy who would stay in business while people die or go missing.

on the fashion note: a jacket with claw marks or even bite marks would be so cool! if the marks are wide, though, you'd probably want to put fabric under the marks so that there's not wide gaping holes in the garment.
i just hope that there are some more affordable options! i find that merch jackets are usually really expensive (which makes sense, not arguing that point), so offering smaller items like earrings, or fabric accessories like scarves or gloves, etc. could make the entire collection more accessible to people with less money

Im pretty sure William is voiced by Johnny Sims, who is a professional VA. Seems fair to assume that the others are also professionals, so it makes sense that the voice acting is so strong

There are only 4 VAs for this game, and 3 of them have only ever voiced this game. The other has done this game, another indie game, and a podcast.
I absolutely love when Mat plays FNaF fangames. He hasn't done one in a while, so I was starting to worry, but let me tell you the wait was worth it. Can't wait to see part 2.

This game truly amazed me. The whole phone call at the beginning of the night with William and Henry was a great detail. The graphics are beautiful and the jumpscares are well executed. 10/10 and one of my favorite new fan games.

I think a cool merchandise idea would be a vintage style letterman jacket that an employee who would have worked at an actually Freddy's restaurant would have gotten for working at the establishment at in the 1980s.

That whole line was clearly taken from Cave Johnson of Portal 2. I like it. These guys have good taste.
31:40 as well, along with the post-it note on the desk fan, and the Left 4 Dead 2 styled menu; these guys are big Valve fans.
You described the potential new merch line as "designer" and/or elevated, so that made me think of more formal wear or somewhat high-end items.
Here's some ideas that popped into my head:
-that faux-alligator skin idea could possibly be applied to something like a line of purses, wallets, clutch purses, etc
-men's formal attire would be cool. Subtly printed ties, pocket squares, cuff links, and socks would be awesome. You could even possibly do bundles of accessory sets for certain games or themes or characters while also selling them as separate entities.
-I'm less versed in women's formal wear, so maybe some other fans can help me out on that front, but the makeup pallets are a sweet idea.
-but that also makes me think..subtle jewelry? Rings, earrings, bracelets, necklaces, etc. Maybe even as far as various nice watches? The main thing, imo, is having these be most definitely a FNAF thing, but what makes them elevated is that the average person wouldn't get "FNAF merch" or even "merch" from it. Just looking at it, you just see a cool thing with a cool design.
-oh glasses frames might be cool too based on different characters' color schemes. Could sell them as frames to have lenses put into and as sunglasses

As I’ve been watching Mark play this, I’ve realized this is the first “FNAF” game to scare me since probably FNAF 4.

thats cool that theres hidden stuff like a shadow fredbear looking thing (between 42:58 and 43:00, there was another one that i barely saw a cpule minutes earlier but im too lazy to check again ) in some of those camera glitches, very cool indeed
The 1 thing of which is find most shocking abiut this game is that we hear William Afton and Henry Emily talking to each other on the phone and explicitly, William refers to the crying child as "Evan Afton" that big lore reveal got me, though we still don't know if its legimately canon.
We're entering a fnaf renaissance with all this great canon and fan made content we've been getting

You gotta have the purple with the gold accents. Also, I love the glamrock pallet, but you'll want to make sure there is that torn horror aspect. You could even do one line without and one line with wear and tear. Like a security breach and security breach ruin line.
The devs basically just pulled the ao3 classic of ‘sorry, English isn’t my first language’ and proceed to make a masterpiece
it would be really interesting for a fnaf game to have its lore explained through a paranormal perspective.
say for example: the protagonist, who takes on the role as a paranormal investigator, finds out the histroy of the freddy fazbear franchise and its written articles of alleged possession of animatronics and other stuff.
I like that perspective idea, it's something no one has really used as a lens yet.

The voice acting and a bit of the game design remind me of Bendy and the Ink Machine, and the visuals are just fantastic. The game designers did a good job.
I think I commented this on Mark's video, but man, it would be so cool if the plot of this game could be canon. It would clear up a lot of stuff, make a great addition to the list of FNaF's roster of games, and is what Scott intended when making all of his other games. Clap and a half!

This is one of my favorite lines as it perfectly explains why the souls of children bind to the animatronics so effectively and likely why Afton never uses adults in his experiments later on. Based on GT's current hypothesis, the only adult souls bound to animatronic bodies are ones still greatly connected to their inner child, either through the burning desire to reignite nostalgic feelings they had as children or the arrested development that comes from experiencing childhood trauma. Only those with that special "spark" are powerful enough to be integrated into a machine and give it the same essence of life as an organic body.
Just a note, look up how Markiplier activated that mini-game within the game. Cause you gotta bet there's some LORE at the end of that game. Right?...
LOVE the Portal nods these devs clearly made here (e.g . the tribute on the fan of [I'm making a note here] "huge success its hard to overstate my satisfaction" or Cave Johnson-esque distraction from the mortal danger with a question "who wants to earn some money?" at 9:24)

For the merch ideas; i'd love to see a reversible hoodie- one side a faded old yellow and on the other side a silver endo skeleton design so you could flip it ! But I love Ash's idea of the slashed jeans and Amy's Monty idea
been binge watching matpat’s fnaf theories and gameplays from years ago and I thought this was old until I saw the date. Feels weird being actually early to a video. I love how matpat hasn’t changed much. Unlike other RUclipsrs, this guy has had the same silly personality and humor since the dawn of time LMAO, I love him.
What about a reversible sweatshirt in the style of Sun and Moon? I don’t know how to design it without making it a bit cartoony, but you could go for a whole “day to night” moment

The puppet creeping into a guy's mouth might be in refrence to one of the fazbear frights stories where a nightwatch man falls asleep on the job and his body gets filled with mini reenas
I’m not sure how you all would feel about this merch concept, but formal accessories would be really cool. Cuff links, pocket squares, belts, pendants and broaches. Maybe a release for a future prom season or just for fun.
This is the game we've always needed in this franchise. Also MatPat-Golf Shoes with FNAF inspired motifs. You know since you're a big time golfer now XD

I noted this in Marks video but the talk the guys gives on the first night at the beginning is really similar to cave Johnson’s speech’s throughout Portal 2
This game is so creepy and unnerving. In regards to merch, I think Chika themed cooking/baking utensils/aprons would be awesome or a cookie cutter set for the OG characters.

Merch Ideas:
~A weird one but Game Theory logo flashlights since lots of the animatronic games use flashlights for game play. If you wanted to add a fun element to the flashlights, they could come with cap designs of our favorite possessed animatronics that you could snap on the end and create wall shadows shaped like different characters.
~A coffee mug with one of those heat activated designs, it could say "LORE!" when it's hot.
~A raglan tee that looks like a Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria employee tee (just sells the pizzeria look better if it's raglan)
For that high-end fnaf merch idea, I’d love to see a suit jacket or waistcoat patterned like the pirate’s cove curtains. Could be reminiscent of the one Glitchtrap wears.
The fact that I’m not usually scared of horror stuff, but when it comes to fnaf I am terrified. The game broke me when I was a kid making me scared of the game and jumpscares, but I love the franchise
idk if anyone else noticed this, but if you slow down the playback speed around 36:45, when the camera has static there is a black Freddy that is waving at the camera in the static. Just wanted to point this out incase no one else was curious enough to go back and slow it down

Potential fashion idea. I would love normal looking designs, but with animatronic parts "tearing through" the design.
An example, normal looking pants, but around the knee area the design is "torn away" to reveal metal knee connectors. Also the bottom of the pants taper into a metallic look to imply that the legs are metal pistons.
Hopefully I've explained this alright.
I would love a jacket based on Lefty's design. For example a black jacket with red hints (Stars as buttons) and maybe like a puppet pattern as lining.
After seeing Markiplier play this game I wanted to see Ash and Mat play it too.
Games like these really reinforces why FNAF 1 was so terrifying and effective. I love FNAF 1 and this game brings everything FNAF 1 gave and more!
