The design reminds me of the Zenvo ST1. Personally, I still find the old (MP4-)12C to be the best looking McLaren road car. Although it's pretty damn good from the back.
at first the large eye socket is a lot to take in, but seeing the functionality and digesting the overall look has converted me. I'm in love with this design evolution already

Cool mix of F1 and P1 styling cues. Right spec and I think the 720S will look stunning, particularly from the rear with that wing! 'Eye sockets' will be divisive, but I think the overall design will grow on people - not everyone was convinced with the 12C when it came out remember...

I have owned this car. It is good bit not as good as my current car which is a heavily modified Citroen Saco. My uncle is a mechanic and he has modified the Saxo to make it faster than a Formula 1 car. It surprises many people, I must say.

Mclaren well done. fantastic aerodynamics integrated into the front well though out pushing the boundaries in car design a pretty car to. Wish I could stand next to one and dribble never mind drive or own one haha.
i can't get over all the new hyper/super/regular performance cars going for digital displays instead of classic analog dials. partially why i love the porsches with all the dials galore it just ruins the interior sure it's probably a bit more accurate and on the cars such as the LFA more purposeful but nothing makes my heart skip like the dials doing the full range when starting and seeing it climb and climb rather than pixels going blue-red and jumping about.

wakiwest McLaren should've made the "eye suckets" smaller. The designer should've ended the bottom part or portion of the eye sucket right where the led lights is located. That would've made it look better, in my opinion.
Goy, oy...what a beautiful car. The new style doors make a lot of sense for the potential customer base of rich old guys...with arthritis and bad knees...easy in easy out.
I would hate to be a McLaren owner -- any of their cars you buy is instantly rendered obsolete 2-3 yrs later. Even the $1 mil P1 couldn't really stay on top of their own food chain for more than 3 yrs. Great feeling that.
OK, this may be just me, but I think this is a huge step up from the 650 S. it looks better, it has a much better interior, and it is faster and more powerful. I think that the 650 S, and for that matter, 675 LT's Will start dropping in value pretty fast.
It looks and sound amazing; However I would go for the new GT3. It would feel kind of weird driving that car daily, that it is a weekend or track car; Imaging a manual GT3 on the canyon.
