Best parts of the video are when stuff goes wrong.. I agree about the other videos out there showing how it is all good all the time! Thanks for the reality Cam, that's what helps guys like me who are new to this keep going, knowing that some of the stuff I struggle with are the same things y'all vets struggle with!
Yea ma let's be real for once in this social media shit show
Bright art Ltd company

Do you choke the underbase? And why don't you use a bump white?
I bet it's the fan. I had the same type of problem, when the wind would blow strong from the north it would actually blowback against my exhaust fan causing Breeze in my dryer tunnel and the temperature would be all over the place. Try tilting that fan away from the tunnel a little at an angle.
trying it now!
Yeah I found that my fan was causing my temp to be all over the place too
Unfortunately that was not that case, It seems to be the temp controller or a bad relay even though It has a new relay, The fan was causing some temp differences but the dryer needs to be repaired.
@@ThePrintLife that sucks those Omron controllers aren't cheap. & a pain to program
Make sense
Is your fan throwing in a backdraft to your heater which is causing it to overheat
Checking that now. Will get back to you. If thats it I will shit.
Just watched the video and I thought the same thing. But it’s now September so I’m guessing you’ve fixed the problem already or you’ve replaced the heater all together? Either way, great video
Hi I don't speak English very well so excuse me if write something wrong.
I use a fan at the of the dryer too but I put it throwing the air at the basket.
Greetings from Panama...
how big is your pallet size? I'm starting abusiness because of you a little help will be much appreciated
I have standard 16x22 M and r style aluminum pallets
Your channel is so good dude. I came here from the podcast, which is also very informative. I am ordering my kit this Thursday and then in 2 weeks my journey will begin. Keep up the killer vids because you're teaching beginners like me so much my dude
brilliant video, everyone messes up n you got the balls to film it. great vid 👍👌
Hi, how you like the anatol press is it really the best for micro registration?
That would be a huge claim to say it is the absolute best. For a manual I would say its as good if not better than the majority, 100% in my opinion.
Sorry to hear your drier went crazy. Hope you can get it fixed my friend. Take care.
I bought a new one. I could not handle working on that thing anymore.
Hell yeah, another good one. Could you do a step by step video on how do to the in registration dance. Asking for a friend. Haha
Sure, I think I can do that, I like that as the title to, How to do the registration dance.
Hey Cam.. I'm new to the screen printing dance! I just recently purchased a 4station press to start up my in tshirt business in my garage! I must say bro, u really give me the tools needed for screen printing! I've learned alot FM u in a short amount of time. So B4 anything..I want to say thank alot! One question tho bro.. what is the name of tht paper tht u taped to the pallet! I couldn't understand what u called it! Thanks again
Awesome video's I watch them all. Your awesome to show all your boo boos and screw ups it helps us all. Im 67 yrs old gal😊 and just bought my first 4 color 4 shirt press Think im going to love it. The day after i bought it I BROKE MY effing yup my fucking foot😭well thats not going to stop me from learning soooo while im out of commission BRING ON THE VIDEOS I say lol anyway Cam all the videos ive seen from you are friggin AWESOME I appreciate you and all that your doing...keep on rocking them out. Cheers☕ from Ontario Canada😉have a great weekend!
What is the reason for a post cure for water base inks?
Is it because the water in the inks will break down the emulsion when pressing when you press?
I seem to be having that issue because im using water based inks and my emulsion is deteriorating.
Love this style of video mate... it’s good to see pros have issues. It keeps it real!
Quick question, I am new to the screen printing game and love the process. I’m using an ink called permaset supercover which allows you to print on opaque colours without the need to lay a white base colour down first. What I’ve noticed is that it drys super quick... any suggestions on what I could add to slow drying time while sitting in the screen?
Hope your doing good man!
Can’t wait for another video ✌🏻
10:20 --- Words of wisdom Cam.... Had that happen to me on my first hoodie job a long while back and it took me a while to figure out thats what was happening... definitely the sad reality of working on a 4-1. Damn thing forces you to work at the speed of a snail. :(
Before you do a final print, are you covering the reg marks with liquid tape?
What’s the point of heating your pallets. You explained how you want to let them cool down the the ink doesn’t cure in the openings, but why heat them before starting? So the adhesive holds the shirt better?
i was looking up this ink on totalinksolutions.com and it does say this gold ink is "stretch" and is supposed to be used for delicate garments like 100% poly and is made to stretch with the garment, could this be why it is making that wavy look?
Great video for what can really happen any giving day! Question... What plastisol ink do you recommend for tri-blend t-shirts like Next level?
Been using Total Ink 24k gold for a couple of years and find no underbase is the best way even on black shirts
Can't we cure the tshirts under the flash dryer? Is the conveyor the only thing that would cure the ink?
Was it cause of the fan? Maybe point the fan slightly away from the exit of the dryer?
I'm not a screen printer, but your video's are super informative!!! I'm almost considering screen printing. Thank you!
Oh wow that is great to hear. You are the best.
wondering, is it possible the fan yoe mounted is blowing back some air into the heating elements?
Sure do miss that in Registration Dance - what's up Camm
I love your vids. Is the fan blowing back in causing the fluctuation
Maybee I will have to Check I out and see.
great Video. thank you! whats the name of that (Register Print) mat template you taped to on your pallet to register the screens with? and where can I get one?
The most entertaining SP guy online. Love the show my brother. :D
plz Ned to jobs printing master im form bangladesh
Hi Cam, Anatol have the same lineal movement left to right that Antec Legend have??
I print with only water-based ink at work. We print 2 to 4 color, a good tip for anyone doing longer runs is to mist the ink with water once it's been flooded; so that it doesn't dry up in the screen. Sometimes when the ink is to thick I just add some water to rejuvenate them. Works really well. I wonder if samples you were sent would just need to be hydrated, if they are water-based.
Also Misting the screen before the ink is down helps.
Hey Cam, so you soak your screens in water? immediately after coming off the exposure unit. For how long and is it just water? also do you do this for both water base and plastisol inks and for the same amount of time because I alway thought water breaks emulsions down. Just wondering, Thanks
just a quick dip no more than 30 seconds, most of the time we just dunk it for 5 seconds before taking it to the wash out booth.
Thanks for the video!!!
I am learning all the time with your videos Cam. Thank you.
or you may try using heatpress to platen the print area
Love youe videos babe...Don't dance!
Man thats the heat controller on the dryer that just happened to me on a machine, replace them i believe its a watlow brand controller... thats why you are having trouble with the temps... thats like the brain of the dryer
I Have one sitting here could not figure out how to program the damn thing. changed the mercury relay and it fixed the temp issue for awhile but I think your right, Do you know what setting to change on the watlow controler????
I don't know if you have done a tutorial on the different types of screens but would it be possible to talk about all the different mesh counts. And what to use for the type of jobs. Please
Yes Im will over the course of the year be doing all sorts of different jobs and experimenting with different stuff.
@@ThePrintLife sweet man you give the best advice and lessons
I think you are the best at what you do. Thank you.
Been there done that....love you show it...happens to all of us.
Beg to differ, the Riley 500 is definitely the best manual press you can get at the moment. It is also set up so you can switch to an auto easily with interchangeable pallets!
You are right, I am wrong obviously! Thank you for correcting me, you are clearly a great and knowledgeable man, Keep the wisdom coming.
Please upload video for 4 colour print
life is good for me mad the company 🇸🇸
Print fam!! Cant wait for some updates on the software!!!!
I feel Like is say this everyweek, but it's so close.
I finally launched it baby.
Damn dude hope that dryer problem is an easy fix.
Thanks Franky, Some have said it's the fan, trying that now.
what emulsion you use in this video?
Bro I’m the same fucking way when I’m registering. I’m glad to know I’m not the only one. Thanks for being so real in these.
Thoughts on the Vastex v2000
You have a lot of patience!! Wow!
Try running that gold without a underbase. I did one time and it still looked great
That particular brand??? It it that opaque?
Whatsup Cam! Great job. Keep me coming.
Nice moves
awesome! thanks for the video!
Great stuff as usual Cam! I get those same ink knives you used from the dollar store, they call them cake knives and they're a buck and a quarter. lol Alway find a way to save skrilla bro
Is your dryer forced air? We keep getting requests for water based inks, but ours doesn't have forced air.
It not. Anatol dont a
Offer a forced air electric dryer, yet I hope they will soon
Having issue with ink build up mostly on the botom corners especially for big large prints... any tips??? by the way thank you for the vids, youre making it easier for us starters.
Hey are you using the same emulsion for water base as you do for pastisol.
Yes are the moment we are using cci VPR its great because it's very forgiving and works decent for short run water based jobs.
@@ThePrintLife holy Sh*t I was Always skeptical about using pre mixed emulsion for water based never tired. You gave me something to do tomorrow
I will like to start screen printing what good basic kit start with that can buy in local art store
Thanks for the info
Thanks for including the problems in the video. Need the troubleshooting help! Very dope!
genius!!😃
A camp what was that name of that register thing used on the pallet and where can you get it at
It's called Rapid Reg. They have a web site.
The problem is the fan, Im agree whit Standard Graphics, same problem befor.
Man you're up early!
Did you use the 150S for the gold overprint?
I did but with that ink I could got higher, I think it would pass through a 205.
You may want to make sure the fan is not blowing in the dryer which may cause temp issues
Can anyone help me as to where I would find that chart to line up the registration at 2:02?
What is the registration system you are using? That looks very cool.
Great video Cam. What's the track you're using at 11:42?
Thanks for all the info. Question where you get your press from ??
I learn a lot of small, minute details that make all the difference in the end result. Thanks Cam!!
Sorry about the dryer dood
It's been a constant thing for years, in the winter, then the summer comes and whalla It's all good,
i love this,sooooo much help
Love the Print Fam!
hell yeah broOO🤘🏼
Also the fan and weather is affecting the dryer. With the wind and cold weather it is struggling to maintain the temp. I would try closing the warehouse and aim the fan away from the tunnel
Thank you
Curious, what was your solution to that dryer and getting those shirts done?!?! Great videos btw, just about every question I have you seem to have a video to answer!
