If you look on there events calender you will see that Kentwell has a number of different Living History events during the year . From 1979 Kentwell has been doing Tudor events with several hundred participants ranging from 6 weeks old to 92 years old. It was one of the first to do this without having a pitched battle in a field. The season is almost at an end with the last one this coming weekend . The level of knowledge at these events is immense .
Visited Kentwell last year and had a brilliant time. It is a fabulous place.
I agree Kentwell Hall is brilliant. It has a different feel compared to other similar places - e.g. National Trust.
Kentwell is indeed one of our countries hidden treasurers . But a visit when one of their Living History events is on takes it to a different level .
Thank you for your comment. Could you please elaborate a bit more on 'one of their Living History events'?
