- I must say I really enjoyed this visit as there is so much to see. Kentwell is a beautiful, moated Tudor home set in extensive gardens and parkland. Never a dull moment with the restored Hall to visit, a Fish Pond, a Stumpery, lovely Topiary Yew Trees, a beautiful Walled Garden plus a Vegetable and Sunken Garden. Then there is the farm area with rare breed farm animals as well as re-created oak-framed buildings in a Tudor style. Kentwell Hall is only open on certain days to the public, usually on a Sunday, April to September but most of August so it is best to check before going to avoid disappointment. Best view in HD if possible.

It's amazing how this beautiful place has been restored since the early seventies..everything is here and the owners have gone to extraordinary lengths to ensure that every minute detail fits with the era.Incredible and I'm glad it's not open all the time. After all that hard work Julie it's a place where tranquility rules and there are little spots everywhere to relax..thanks for including so much here,something to suit all tastes..and seeing the horses was a joy.This was beautiful..the stumpery a work of art.The bedroom/bathroom is fascinating and just wondered if they are used in daily life as it's privately owned.. So many interesting things here...there is a lot of love and research gone into this paradise``
Thank you Tuk. You are spot on with your comments as the present owners are doing a wonderful job with restoration of the farm buildings as well as the house. Wonderful for children to see what farming was like long ago and never a dull moment all day. I came across Kentwell Hall on the web while looking for places to visit while down there. That Sunday was Fathers' Day and it was open to the public just that one day that week. I think another 2 hours there was really needed to see it all in more detail and I wish it was nearer to visit again sometime. Pleasant weather here at the moment so hope it stays a little longer. That's a beautiful house and gardens, Julie. My mother loved visiting historical places like this (she dragged me round a few as a kid!). I like the way you edited this with the different and appropriate music inserted at just the right moments. J.

I didn't realise how long it has been since we went there Patra! It is a beautiful place to walk around and I would love to get back there again. We do not seem to get down south of us these days as we like the quieter roads up north and in Scotland. What a fascinating place this is Julie .Really beautiful and your video is so detailed and well edited Everything at this place is pristine and the farm animals are lovely .The peacock and the Geese are terrific ..Clearly they are able to live there and have a large family ...Thanks for including them :) Big like *and in my favourites .Am just out of hospital but this is a place I'd like to see on my next UK trip ....

As it is privately owned Kentwell Hall isn't open as much as other places and I wouldn't have wanted to miss it that week. The one price covers everything. Pleased you are back home so take care.
