Omg that first story is such a Rockford story 😭😭 If you haven't heard of it, its basically Chicago's dump yard. If you can't afford to live in Chicago (or were ran out) you move here with it being only an hour away. Things like that happen everyday here sadly.
As someone who grew up in pretty much every part of Rockford I can affirm this statement. Shits crazy, that's why I moved far away and will NEVER go back to that shit hole of a city.

As far as not calling the police because there was nothing they could do, I think it's advisable to tell them as they have it on record and hopefully if another person has the same type of issue, they will hopefully link them.

That part about that dummy filling the tires with air in the middle of the night, and there was a handprint left on the car, after he tried to stop that gal. Hello, the police could have gotten a handprint and traced it down, but no, just let it go for someone else to actually get kidnapped and possibly murdered. My hat off to the gal that smashed the lamp on that one heavy breather guy's head.😂😂 I rewinded it several times because his scream of pain was funny.😂😂

I like how when they do the sounds of glass breaking or a doorknob jiggling, they use sounds from the original Resident Evil video games. That’s a nice touch. Especially since those games are some of the first survival horror games.

I work in the repossession business also and my drivers have some horror stories to tell for sure. Once my boyfriend (I'm his assistant at his lot) and his boss went to repo a car and the guy came out and started to shoot at my man and our boss and they put the car down and took off and the other guy chased after them in the car that has the repossession order and the guy got t boned and turns out he has extensive rap sheet and is now serving many years in prison (there's a new article about that night) also one of my spotters found the vehicle at a Walmart 25 mins from the main address and turns out the guy killed his wife and went to a Walmart 25 mins away and then shot himself. I could go about the horror stories but that's just a couple!!

I think we get this impression from Hollywood movies, they show a lot of people of all ages, women too, obsess over sports. In Europe a lot of men love soccer but the way Americans are obsessed with their sports in movies seems on another level almost.

I'm not saying some of these stories couldn't be true. None are that far fetched. However, I suspect some might be made up or just a kid with a wild imagination. Also, as a grown man and stranger, I would never ask a couple of young girls to come look at horses in a trailer. That alone is suspect. No reasonable man wants to put himself in a position that could look like something it's not. Well at least these days. There was a time of more purity and innocence, but even then you never know. Perception is everything. Best to just assume people have no good in mind. It's a different world today and you have to be street smart and very much aware of your surroundings.
