True. I used to enjoy Mr Ballen’s creepy stories, but he has fallen down the true crime rabbit hole and I don’t listen to him anymore. I want creepy not horrific.
These stories got me looking over my shoulder and checking all my windows to make sure they are locked lol I even changed in the bathroom instead of in my bedroom bc I was nervous someone would see me thru the little opening in the curtain 😂 I love these stories tho they are addicting. Even if they make me paranoid 😜💜🙌

Same. It's just my 5 year old daughter, our animals, and I in my house. These kinds of stories don't bother me so much when my daughter is here with me. Probably because I'm in Mama Bear mode. Now I have new job, accepted into the lpn-RN program and pulling out of the darkness. The universe always manages to help you pull through

My father passed away yesterday and Thursday is My father's funeral. My heart is full of Pain and sadness that my beautiful wife Stephanie wants to comfort my sadness and pain but she cannot not.

i feel so fortunate to have stumbled across your channel! i love listening to scary stories while i'm knitting or crocheting, but unfortunately there are way too many youtubers who have flat, monotone deliveries that don't inspire a whole lotta creep factor. i find myself rolling my eyes at times because while the stories themselves are terrifying, the way they're spoken about blunts any impact they might've had! like c'mon now, i should be getting chills not getting annoyed! this has especially gotten worse for me after i spoiled myself by listening to the incredibly "scare you to sleep" podcast where the host shelby has a way of getting under your skin with just her voice. but sometimes i want some genuine scary stories that have actually happened to real people, so finding your channel has been a breath of fresh air! i especially enjoy the sections where you act out conversations between people, truly top notch stuff. thank you for your dedication, it clearly shows and i'm looking forward to binging all of your content now!

Be afraid very afraid these stories always make me jitter they give me the jitters man I love this channel because somehow the weight you tell these stories just makes me spook out it Spooks me out but I love them because you know why? They make me more aware of my surroundings when I'm by myself and that's almost all the time. So, and sort of a way sensory awareness skills maybe? Or good intuition developmental skills. I love how,in the last story, his spirit guide woke him up. my spirit guide use to always do the same for me. For example, I took a nap when oldest was a toddler crawling on the floor and my spirit guide woke me up and told me that my son was choking soon as I open my eyes he was choking and I was able to help him. Unfortunately a psychic told me I could quiet my spirit guide up and I did and now he doesn’t come to me anymore. I did so because the voice was creepy it was raspy and yelling but it sounded like it was from a far like yelling whispering. I thought I was crazy went to the doctors had a CAT scan nope it was my spirit guide and it was telling me things I couldn’t see. Did this happen to anyone else Besides the guy in the last story

However, I’ve realized just how ill-equipped I’ve been since listening to scary true stories. I have some serious AWARENESS now that I definitely did not have before.
