I used to wander the darker parts of the web. It really is that scary. I was at my parents and swat fbi us Marshalls came to my door my dad looks at me Beck what did you do?! They weren't there for me but there was a robbery and murder and the suspect ditched the weapons on our property and just for a little drama there was a helicopter hovering in part my backyard They found the weapons and caught the guy. That was interesting to say the least and that's the closest I ever got to almost getting into trouble. I think the universe was warning me. I most definitely listened.

that second to last story is fucking terrifying, purely because of how delusional the writer sounds. how can you convince someone like him that what he's doing is wrong, when he genuinely believes that his actions are justified? i don't believe his version of events for a second. even without divulging the truth in its entirety, he still comes off as weird and inappropriate, and it's pretty obvious that he doesn't understand/respect boundaries.
some people are just so convinced by whatever warped reality that exists in their minds that they don't realize that even the narrative they crafted in order to paint themselves in a better light still makes them out to be unhinged. i imagine the actual events as they really happened are much, much worse. truly creepy shit.

Police NEVER take stalking seriously. That guy had to have a lot of evidence against him for the charges to even stick let alone to actually plead guilty.
No, I'd have to disagree. At least partially. If you've "been there" then of course you have a personal bias, but some guys are simply lonely, over-emotional and don't have a good grasp of boundaries especially if they've become attached to someone. All of that is of course very much an issue that needs to be worked on but it's not "sinister" exactly. Just because it's on a creepy story RUclips channel doesn't mean this guy was secretly much worse than he's letting on is all I'm saying. Not defending his actions, but there are "fragile" and unhealthy people out there who aren't the menacing kind known to "snap". They just need help and that's the end of it so IMO it's unfair to paint everyone as an unhinged psycho just because the unhinged psychos are also out there

Second to last guy, the stalker dude, was still in the wrong. If someone blocks you, it means stop contacting them. They don't owe you an explanation, nor are they responsible for your feelings.

People... Well like YOU are terrible. You look at things only from your own POV - from an obviously - either biased, or Clueless standpoint.... That's the only thing it could possibly be. There are so many people out there who end up in court when they do not deserve to be there whatsoever, this guy explained the whole story what he did is not (cyber)stalking unless you look at it from a biased POV. I would NOT either at least bit surprised if you were biased or have went through this before (like someone close to you got stalked or something etc) he clearly stated that when she said "stop" he stopped.. you have to keep going once they say stop in order for it to be stalking or harassing, one or even a couple messages do not qualify.
The ONLY reason why he was essentially forced to plead guilty for a crime he was probably not guilty of was because he was a man and she was female. If the situation was reversed HE WOULD HAVE BEEN LAUGHED PUT OF COURT... PERIOD. I have seen it so many times (heard of it etc). I myself have been arrested and had to argue a case for something that I was completely innocent of, it happened to be trespassing for me, I showed up at a 7-Eleven late at night and the guy came out and started yelling at me immediately telling me "I told you to leave I told you to leave"... While I was completely baffled not understanding why he was yelling at me, the cops pulled in (literally 30 seconds since I got off my bicycle) they wouldn't check the video they wouldn't hear my side of the story nothing they immediately arrested me and I was forced to plead guilty.
So I know how this feels, the only way to plead your cases to go to trial and I don't know about their area but in my area when you go to trial you're almost guaranteed to lose, over 80% of the time. If it was a case Like his - a male "victimizer" versus a female "victim"...???? The odds go up to about 95% or more you are going down!!!!! It is a broken system.
If anyone biased wants to argue that is fine because your opinion - which is incorrect if you're saying this is not true - is inaccurate.. you're welcome to your opinion whether it's wrong or not. Men loose these cases 99% of the time. PERIOD.
I'm sorry what happened to that guy who had to falsely plead guilty to stalking, but if someone BLOCKS you, they're telling you, "NO". WHY would you keep bugging them? Let it go and Move On like an Adult--there are mysteries most of us will never know the answer to. It's a Fact of Life.

I gotta say, I am not a fan of the 'stalker guy' story. He was trying awful hard to seem like a misunderstood guy, but it seems pretty clear to me that this girl was made uncomfortable by him and his incessant messaging. Whether or not it is once a week or once every two weeks, if she is not responding to you that means something.
I'm not saying she necessarily went about it the correct way, she definitely should have been upfront about her feelings. But she probably didn't want to hurt his feelings. When he continued, the feeling of discomfort probably got to be so bad she felt anxious and uncomfortable with the situation so she went about it the only way she thought she could.
Again, there was PROBABLY a better way she could have gone about it...but there was a better way he could have gone about it as well. I don't care how close he thinks they were, if she blocks you that should have been the end of it. Clearly things weren't as he thought they were if she'd blocked him. The block should have been the BIGGEST indicator to this guy of that. It's an unfortunate situation, but the way he tries to make himself out to be the ONLY victim here and paint her to be the only one in the wrong...? No thanks.

As a believer myself, that line makes me think this story can be taken one of two ways: Either the storyteller is in the wrong and the story he’s telling is altered heavily (they never were really close, never met up, and what he took as a friendship was her repeatedly telling him to leave her alone) or he IS telling a 100% factual account and their friendship was legitimate up until that point. If the former is true, I don’t think the conclusion needs to be said. If the latter is true, well, he’s STILL in the wrong but she could’ve probably gone about it a different way. Either way you slice it, though, he WAS stalking her and she WAS justified.

That New York car chase story is exactly one of the reasons why I still keep my rust bucket of a 2004 Z71 Tahoe as my daily driver. All Hail the big steel frame/chrome bumper-having cars!! I was driving an old Grand-Am, so no air-bags, back in the late 90s when some Doofus rear-ended me on the highway. I flipped and slid on my roof several feet down a Luckily muddy berm of the road. Thank God, I am and short and was seat-belted, and it's steel frame saved me--I walked away with a tiny cut on my knee--and NO other injuries despite the flying broken glass. The car was totaled but insured, I got a tetanus shot and went on about my life.

Some toxic people use their partners to get friends in that kind of deep trouble so the toxic person can keep their partners under control. Yeah the scenario they described is stalking, he even states “I honestly thought we’d start dating at some point” even though she gave no indication that’s what she wanted and he kept messaging and emailing even after he was blocked.
RIGHT? The "I didn't make her feel..." bit especially. Sir, you have absolutely NO RIGHT to declare how she was or was not feeling as you simply do not know. I think it is pretty clear that this girl felt her only choice was to get legal action because he simply didn't understand boundaries.

I've heard the stalker story (second to last story) before, and I'll always respond the same way, the guy is delusional. He blatantly harassed her after she said she no longer wanted to talk and blocked him. She isn't responsible for his feelings or the fact that he expected to date her when she gave no indication that she wanted to. Dude sounds like an incel, "Boo hoo, I harassed someone and they owe me an apology because I got called out and charged on my shitty behavior and now I'm deflecting and blame everyone else rather than taking responsibility!"
She doesn't owe you anything, never has and never will. No one owes you anything, ever. If you go into every friendship with someone assuming and expecting to get something out of it, you'll always come out heartbroken. Just cause someone is nice to you, doesn't mean they want to date you. If someone stops responding to you, don't spam them with messages. Respect the fact that they're busy or they simply don't want to talk. If someone gets into a relationship, respect that relationship. Your emotions and your feelings toward someone are your responsibility alone, not theirs. You actively chose to harass her after she made it clear she wanted nothing to do with you, buck up and grow up.

@@greggeverman5578 I’m in the same boat as the previous person. I’ve listened to this story 2 different times. And I also know my fair share of stalking laws. Granted majority of my knowledge is based on my own state but I live in a state where stalking laws are better here and it’s STILL not great. You need to have A LOT of evidence to be able to get anyone to take stalking seriously. No joke.
Not only that this boy loses all sympathy as soon as this girl basically says “no leave me alone” at that point NO MEANS NO. and it doesn’t matter how entitled you feel to receive an explanation. You don’t always get closure. It’s not ur job to then seek it out no matter what.
