Story # 3 So a crazed father almost kills his son in blind rage, records the incident and keeps the tape? Did his rage cause him to forget that he was recording? Did the mom keep the tape to possibly keep the father in line? Did the father ever act out after the incident? And what does Batman think about all of this?

There's actually an epilogue to the first story that Unit must have missed. Basically the narrator goes down to the beach and finds John and Sarah's bodies in the tide. He then says he feels silly because there really was never a reason to worry to begin with, then says this will be his last post since "the twine is so tight, you lose the feeling in your fingers" before telling the reader if they're in the area to "come to the beach, there is something you need to see".
Makes much more sense with the epilogue, thank you.

Stories where the characters stumble on things they should obviously bring to the police but don't leading to them being fucktards the rest of the way are boring.
+resdraon every scary story is boring if all the people make the best decisions. 95% of all the "true" scary stories and creepy pastas would be over in 60 seconds of every kept a gun in their house. well maybe 6o% with the ghost/monster ones, most the ones I hear are psycho killer themes where people have to run for their lives. I cary a gun most the time so the most realistic stories are non issues to me. so them being stupid makes the story work

The first story : Usually when someone’s gone missing the cops won’t file a report after it has been 24 hours. At first I thought she may have been cheating, but later on I was like “nah she dead”
This is an open and shut case, this guy either clearly had something to do with his girlfriend disappearance and he’s haunted by the guilt of what he’s done. Why else would he be so scared to go back to the beach even after detectives asked him twice and he’s having nightmares and hallucinations of his girlfriend and water and sand.

To be completely honest, listening to these kinds of creepy stories have made me paranoid and weary of other people, to the point now that I always quadruple check that all the doors/windows are locked and teaching myself self defense 🤷♀️
I know what u mean lol , I live in Uk so curtains are a must at windows (the help keep the heat in the house as it’s normally cold here) but I’ve noticed on tv that houses in US are always shown as being mostly made of windows and no curtains or blinds / nets .... that freaks me out as anyone could be lurking in the dark peering into your windows at night aaagh!! On American horror films I end up screaming at the tv “buy some curtains for gods sake”lol “then u won’t get stalked and murdered in your own home “ so make sure you listen to these stories with your doors locked and your curtains and windows closed 😆

I don't mean to be that guy but I live in a 10 mile radius from Stinson beach and there hasn't been any news reports of dead bodies washing ashore at anytime ever

RomanSkate the story is most likely a work of fiction , however I think he was hallucinating most of that ... that's just my opinion

The fact that the reporter said "you need to get here, there's something I need to show you" points to it either being a supernatural occurrence connected to the tape (unlikely) or he was hallucinating it. No reporter in their right mind would EVER tell people to come near areas with "hundreds of dead bodies". It's a police scene as soon as the body or bodies is found and telling people to come would impeded any investigation because they'd have their hand full getting rid of hundreds of people trying to watch. The reporter and the news company would also get shit from the police for causing trouble for them. So yeah. If you want to believe the story is true then the report was only broadcasted to him in order to get him to come or his phycological state conjured it due to his guilt. It's probably more likely he was hallucinating and if not he's one hell of a story teller. I really appreciate his skill it turned out fantastic.

5 years late but I can answer you questions. Maybe the son called his Dad, acted casual and claimed he didn't see anymore of it. Then the guy flew to his parents house, opened the door and punched his dad in the nose real hard before confronting him about the incident. The dad is in shock while the son angrily shouts at him calling him various names such as psycho and his mom just watches in horror. The son then tells the dad to never speak to him again and he walks off. Idk if this is good enough, but that is the best I can think of.

As awful as the events in the last story are, I really like the message of it, too. Parents get so worked up about their children 'acting like a man' or 'being a lady' that they'll readily destroy the kid's childhood altogether. Scary thing is just how many parents think that kind of treatment is perfectly normal.

@Raven Two years late, but to answer your question: some of the stories on the channel are real (labelled as "True") but those with the tag "NoSleep" are from a sub-reddit of stories that are creepy, blending reality and fictional horror not unlike a creepypasta, though NoSleep tends to be more "real" compared to the latter at times.

I read this story on Reddit (NoSleep) a few months back and it’s a good one. I’m glad someone read it for RUclips.
The basic premise of the story is that there is something supernatural going on at some spot on “Stinson Beach”. It’s meant to be a bit confusing because we’re getting the narrator’s side of the story. The video kickstarted a chain of horror of people basically succumbing to something wicked and unnatural. The narrator (OP) is being drawn and possibly possessed in some way to get to the beach.
Almost everyone in the OP’s life - even the reporter - is going to the beach and they’re trying to get him to go, until he finally is on his way. Which is the end of the story. So we’re not meant to know what happened exactly; did he make it, did he succumb to whatever was possessing people, and etc?
Sorry if I didn’t do a decent job explaining what I concluded after reading. I tried.
But yah, we should go to Stinson Beach...
