Presumably they score low on safety like other Dainese boots? When Alpinestars and TCX can score 2's in most categories but Dainese, who cost more, can only scrape 1's it's a no-brainer for me.

Their homologation scores are mostly level 1. Personally, I am not impressed with the level of protection they provide generally as a brand but mostly on their boots. The previous fulcrum had a rating on levels 2-1-2-1 (level rating on boots includes 4 numbers, each one representing different tests). I don't know about this boot but I am unimpressed with their... ankle mini "protectors".
Better to be looking like a track-day gal riding on the street with my level 2 on all tests alpinestars smx 6 v2's and having a real bracing ankle system...

The Dainese boots are comfortable but the sole wears out way too fast. The boot itself still looks new and the bottom will be completely slick.
