  • Today I review the Eastar complete drum set you can get on Amazon for $250 for the full kit! Get one at amzn.to/2Yi1CZB. It comes with a 22" kick, 10", 12", and 16" toms, 14" snare, and hi hats, crash/ride cymbals, stands, bass drum pedal, throne, and even sticks! This is a great deal for a beginner or student drum set that is well made and very inexpensive! I was especially impressed with the included hardware! #eastardrums #review #completedrumset Stream Demonic Sweaters on Apple Music / demonic-sweaters

Trust me these inexpensive drum kits can sound great and last for years if you dont throw them around. Good heads.Good cymbals. And good tuning.Thats all you need. (of course those things will end up costing more than the set!)

I have the same exact silver model. It’s actually great value for money. Once you put a pillow in the bass drum, gel pads on the snare and toms, they sound reasonable. The hihats and cymbals can’t be helped but I added a tambourine over the hats and it sounded better. The only thing a beginner needs to upgrade later on is a good crash.

He even banged it when I sent it back and I told him then thats why its being sent back. At one time there were two sets here federal express brought a new one before I could send the damaged set back. Vashti Singh honestly, an imperial star would’ve been better. This set is just ok for $250 (which is basically nothing in the drumming prices) to be quite honest, you get what you pay for. A 9 piece with hardware TAMA kit is about $779 is a great investment and will last you much longer. I understand your decisions but if someone is really looking for a quality drum set that will last them because they really want to be a drummer, they should get something better. If someone buys this because of their budget, I completely understand.

I was wondering if there is a chance you could update us on the condition of this drum? Or maybe other budget ones youve done like a year or 2 later how are they holding up. Personally I'm looking for sub $400 drums that can last a good 2-5 years and sound decent so students can have enough time to develop their craft on a decently cheap drum. I understand we're all busy though so if you dont have time to update us no problem dude, thank you for all the videos you have done and still put out, as this kind of work really helps the industry and new drummers come in.

If you are interested in fixing cracks in the shells, using JB Weld to attach metal that broke off the stands, a throne that you will literally fall off of and aren't interested in support, returns or honesty from Eastar, this is the kit for you! Ask me how I know. You will spend several hundred dollars (at least) upgrading the cymbals and drum heads, and hours repairing. Spend that money on a decent kit from a legitimate manufacturer.
