I started watching Alux videos since 2019 and still re-visit their old content, still 3years later the impact is to the core, straight to the point. I proud to say that through this education soon enough people will label me rich. I love this channel it's my daily bread 🍞 Proudly South African
You took that out of contex and argue about self made argument that doesnt exist 😐 They said that in world of ppl who care about beeing more sustainable a super car is no longer a flex... and that is 100% correct, eco freaks and wanna be green kids hate super cars for carbon footprint. For ppl who dont give AF about beeing eco or dont go with the "fight the rich lets be commies" its still a flex but Alux wasnt talking about them.
point #3: you are not as smart as you think you are. that definitely is the biggest and most common trigger for people out of the 10 listed in the video.
I don't think we need to care of what others think ... we don't need to care to cradle their sensitive little tiny fragile ego... money doesn't make them better of a person either ...nor should you bow down to them ... if someone really knows who they are they will know that they are soul they are not their ego that they are consciousness not their ego. The ego is the evil and the ego is what needs to be killed. Chasing money will only give you more dissatisfaction in life because money will never make you happy ! Stop comparing yourself to others and stop needing validation from others!
I have always liked Alux because I enjoy knowing random facts about people on all sides of the socioeconomic spectrum, however this video is a turn on the right direction because it feels kinder than most of the content on this channel. It’s also inspiring, and it sets the attention on what matters most about living a life of luxury: the opportunity to do more with your resources on behalf of your communities or at least in a way that makes you happy.
And for No.7, it's all about a balance for me. Whether we like it or not, SM has become the yard stick for how we're perceived by society. As long as you're able to understand that you can be your true authentic self while still maintaining a decent reputation on SM you should be fine.
I learned that our existence is barely preferable by the universe. Civilizations come and go without even a memory left of their stature and power. I sometimes think of our planet at the pale blue dot, as Dr Carl Sagan wrote about our planet. Perspective give us a better mindset.
In terms of No.6, I agree with Naval about seeking to gain our own self validation, but I tuly believe that having a bit of competitiveness about you isn't a bad thing. Ronaldo needed Messi. Musk needed Bezos. JayZ needed Nas.
It doesn't matter what struggles you've faced we all appear as cogs in a machine. Don't know where I heard this but it's stuck with me from childhood. You may have had a bad upbringing or neglectful parents but anyone on the street doesn't know that. You won't get special favors just because your life was hard so don't expect them.
Hahaha. No filter. I so love Alux. I've downloaded the app. Just haven't religiously watched the daily videos. But I will go round to it. Your RUclips videos for me for now are more than enough. 😊
true truuue. Most of your points are valid except the one about designer items. Everyone likes quality items especially wealthy people; the only difference is wealthy people purchase high end items with discreet branding so they end up looking like generic basics. I think the key take away is the intention behind buying a designer item - are you buying it in hopes of validation from total strangers in hopes of feeling better about yourself on some level? Or are you buying it for yourself to enjoy. There's dozens of celebs out there who drop serious money on luxury clothing but much of it is free of logos or any brand identifiers.
Hi Alux, the piece is about 10 brutal truths but in the intro title it states 15 brutal truths... Just a friendly correction! Great video... As usual 😜
Napoleon Hill wrote, as directed from a Master of the "Great School of the Masters" as described in his last book "Grow Rich with Peace of Mind," that "Nothing Matters." It is the counterbalance of reason, ambition, and peace of mind, whilst living the Successful Life. This book is my favorite of all Hill's books; written just a few years before his death.
Great content! My ego needs a good triggering now and then "Nothing new under the sun" was coined 3,000 or so years ago by the "wisest ruler", King Solomon. He also said, at the end of his life, "I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit. Then again, he had 700 wives (allegedly) so, perhaps not so wise. Even he could have benefited from Alux 👌
It would do a lot of good if Aluxers make sure and read Principles by Ray Dalio and watch his videos as we head potentially into one of the worst recessions since 1929. I had a public relations client who decided to trade in her Mercedes for a Rolls. She learned real quickly that $125 for new spark plugs in the 80s was just not going to cut it!
when #9 came on, I knew, that I know. It was last year i realise that everything that you think is you is basically...just a collection of memories. So getting to the core is really important for me to focus on this year. I am the I am, but, who am I? hm..Alux, you are on to something here ;)
I think people refuse to accept, let alone discuss their individual mortality… many think it’s depressing to reflect on this inevitable and super essential life event… so much that they don’t prepare for it… not knowing that a consistent realization that today, this very moment…could be our last… can, and should actually be invigorating!… it would mean that we wouldn’t waste todays precious moments on petty shit… but rather, we would value honesty, integrity, forgiveness, joy… and unconditional love - for self and all others… yes…we’d still make plans for the future…but live in a perpetual reality that a focus on the sole thing over which we have control…i.e. our thoughts… when focused virtue & meaning …finally & permanently sets us free!!!
for #3 we got a saying back home, when you get all hyped up about what we just found out, all of us look at each other and say boy can you imagine what we don't know. im still that way even today with everything else. Alux got all the eggs in the basket, another golden episode.
Ah, no new ideas. Agree that it’s so hard to have a truly original thought. I learned that when writing a dissertation. My addition to the knowledge base amounted to major paraphrasing of what others said that originated from others that informed their ideas and thoughts. Solomon is still correct and relevant:Not much new under that sun. 🌞
Hi Alux. January and February have been strange months. I would like to hear your opinion on something. My very first client accidentally sent me 60BNB instead of 60USDT for a freelance project I was doing for him. He called and I returned the crypto and he sent me the agreed and an extra 40USDT. In the country I live, the 60BNB is almost 2 million kenyan shillings which is a lot of money. I know I did the right thing. I'm only 21 and I have been an Aluxer since I was 19, I would like to appreciate your role in who I am. I felt like my trajectory was greater than that. Was it the right thing?
I once tried to explained to a coworker that money is not real. He got triggered and proceeded to pull out a dollar and asked "then what is this?" I said it's a piece of paper with a famous person's face on it. How is it that humans are the ONLY animals that use paper money but all other animals don't use it?
I disagree with the supercar section. Imagine the difference between being in Bugatti owners club vs Civic owners club. It’s not just a car but a community that comes with it
I would consider myself lower middle class but these videos help me fine tune how I conduct and treat myself and others, I do woodworking and frame art as a side hustle and my artist praised me last night about being great at what I do and dependable so i guess Im on the right path
People think and believe that only some works in the society are great like doctors, auditors etc while works like garbage collector, server, driver etc are not being valued enough, I want this society to understand that all works which is creating a positive value in any form is great.
A brutal truth I can share from personal experience, religions (especially the Abrahamic ones) are not what they say they are, nor are they what they claim to be. They were generally made by old people who want have control over the gullible masses by force and submission to fables that are discouraged to be questioned of their origins and make outstanding claims without giving proper evidence, thus giving religious believers the burden of proof to their fables. What I shared here may sound harsh, though I'm certain that I'm not the only one who thinks the same. Can any other Aluxer here relate to what I shared?
How about telling them, "You are wrong. You know nothing about this subject and you can't be right all the time. That's impossible." That always ticked off my mom when I was a kid
Yes I am as smart as I think I am, I am an aspie and savant and being smart doesn't measure how money you make it's measured by how much you can teach others
Opinions were made of you, long before you walked in the room…… That’s in life-ppl already have opinions of you without ever meeting them-we all do that too. It’s survival! Am I going up against a giant, or a mouse-who do I have most experience with? Do I talk to mom or dad about this? It’s all a survivor instinct. It just is what it is, we all do it-accept it. But don’t be disrespected! Just be you✌️
Ultimately you have to think how often supercar owners do actually drive illegally. It's probably not as often as you'd think. It's an experience of owning something luxury like that... in much the same way as it is with any car.
brutal truth that most refuse to accept?: “we know nothing about the human mind and you are no exception to humanity widespread ignorance.” I am an eternal learner and note that most people never even acknowledge how much we could learn in order to evolve in life. It shocks me how most people live without realizing their mission in this planet. They live without intention and almost like, if they were not really living…
Thee people that you bought those Designer clothes from care, and everything thing people buy from others, McDonald's put a Smile on people's face and some businesses use to say the customer is always rite.
Another brutal truth: Telling someone to relax or not take an incident seriously, in response to being reproved for making an error that bothers whoever issues the reproof, is proof of, or at least strong evidence for, bullying, manipulation, or other evil intent.
A brutal truth: the older you get, the more money you need. And if you lack the skillset and education that is needed to achieve your financial goals, you are screwed up.
Answer to today's question: The fact that non of us are "special". We're just tiny beings floating on a rock in outer space. Life is what you make it Aluxers. We're not entitled to anything.
All the cars used in here for example aren’t even SUPER Cars. And the reason why it coasts a lot of money is the amount of time given on every small detail just to produce one super car which is an asset that go up in price. The cars in this video are overpriced Gas Guzzlers 😢😂
I think that most people only want to be wealthy because other people are. If you had only met 10 other people before and they all got by on £50 a week, you would probably feel good about yourself if you were earning £1,000 a week, right? But when there are billionaires out there that everyone wants to compete with, I think you have to ask yourself how much do I actually want? And base it off your own wants and needs instead of comparison with others.
Here's one brutal truth that I know many won't accept: If you believe that simply earning enough for basic survival should be hard or require more than a "basic"-level effort, you are one of the worst people on the planet. Why? Because by arguing this, you are actually saying that NOT practically destroying yourself just to have food, clothing, and a roof over your head are crimes punishable by death.

Good morning Alux
People think and believe that only some works in the society are great like doctors, auditors etc while works like garbage collector, server, driver etc are not being valued enough, I want this society to understand that all works which is creating a positive value in any form is great.
Some people are soo stubborn to accept their rude behaviour. And then never apologise.
You messed up your timestamps! "You are not as smart as you think you are" is repeated.
A brutal truth I can share from personal experience, religions (especially the Abrahamic ones) are not what they say they are, nor are they what they claim to be.
