    GREAT VIDEO. I got a little tickled when you say, "but it works". That is the story of every one of my projects. It might not be exactly how the pros do it but it works!!!! I especially liked the dustpan idea. Necessity is the mother of invention. Come on everybody and hit the like button...

    I love that X-Back ladder at about the 1:30 mark. Those are probably the most common ladder in a home.
    Really looking forward to seeing the trim transition repair at the baseboards, you've always got great ideas for stuff like that.

    Using a stapler for the corner beading is something I have not seen before. Usually drywall screws are what I use. Then I over drive the screw and the bead buckles. I might try a stapler next time.

    Wetting the drywall to bend it! clever, will have to try it. I thought you had to score and do a bunch of cuts to get it to bend, but this way looks way better

    • @biancageorgescu8962
      @biancageorgescu8962 3 года назад +1

      It's actually not recommended to wet the paper on the back of the drywall sheet because the moisture will reduce its resistance when you screw it in. If you cut the sheet along its width, rather than its length it should bend just fine, even if you end up using more pieces of drywall to finish the arch.

    Amazing. Thank you for showing this. I live in a house from the 50s and most of the walls are low barring. I hope you change a low barring too. I need some help. I have a inclosed carport from my grandfather, so our outside wall is inside. Have no idea how to tackle such a task without paying someone though its hard to find someone that takes small projects.

    • @lancer525
      @lancer525 3 года назад

      Low Barring? I think you mean "Load Bearing" as in the wall supports the ceiling and floors above. It bears the load. Load Bearing. You're welcome.
