Because Cyrus never actually went on stage in front of the crowd until Then and They didn't know that He was Truth until that night AND Bling does say "Here we go again" to Cyrus in the last Rap Battle of the movie. I personally think that it would've worked perfectly

The insults he delivered in Moment of Truth are either generic insults he could do to anyone, "I'm rich you're not, boom roasted", or things Cyrus told him in self defeat
I mean the film is based off the story Cyrano de Bergerac and there is a similar sequence in it where the character's nose was getting roasted by others. He basically says that he could come up with better roasts than they could and proceeds to do so. In terms of the story that Let It Shine adapts, it fits. But for the narrative of Let It Shine, I understand what you mean. I still feel the film would've been as popular as it is now if they included it.

While I do like this scene I can understand why they removed it considering this was at the 11 minute mark and showed us that Cyrus would have absolutely destroyed Bling if he got over his stage freight and Bling would have literally nothing to roast Cyrus about because anything he could come up with Cyrus would have already admitted to it proudly. Similar to how in 8 Mile Rabbit won the final rap battle because he admitted to every flaw that Papa Doc was going to say about him so when it was his turn to diss him he couldn't say anything.

Mind you I've watched this movie countess times since it originally came out on disney Channel, however I made the fatal mistake of watching the movie again but this time I was high as shit. And this pirate site decided to include this deleted scene. I was not prepared and I nearly tripped the fuck out!!!!! Lol
