Aside from Doughboy walking away and disappearing what also saddens me is what he said being right. “People don’t know, don’t show, or care what’s going on in the hood”. What’s even sadder is people are more willing to help people in another country than are in the hood despite some of things other countries are dealing with are taking place in the hood.

Ive watched this film untold times since I was 15. I love it, but whats always not made sense is why they didn't cover vulnerable areas with newspaper wrapped in duckt tape...nothing would be able to bite through that except a pit bull terrier. 55:23 Youd think they would invest some time into protective clothing.

Doughboy had no purpose after Ricky died as he spent much of the film looking out for him. Its sad both their fates were sealed cuz of 1 bad night.
