Thanks for sharing this. Had to replace low beam bulbs and had to follow these steps to get both headlight assemblies out to replace low beam bulbs due to positioning of low beam bulb.
Thanks for the video. It helped a bunch. I found that taking out the first of the four bolts on top of the quarter panel helped also. Even with the wires disconnected it was a bear to wiggle out. Loosened up the front plastic mount piece as well, just enough to free it up. 10mm... Thx again!
Ugh. Mine is doing the same thing on the same headlight. I looked up the replacement assembly and saw the three mounting holes (2 underneath) and figured it would entail something like this.. dont feel like tearing apart a bumper to replace it but have no choice Thank you for this video. Gives me an idea of what to do. 👍
No need to remove the front bumper. Remove front tire and take off the front inner panel. You can reach up and remove the screws from there. Reverse the process.
It is absolutely ridiculous that you have to take half the bumper off to get the headlight out. We were trying to get to the running light and couldn’t. I am assuming you have to take out the whole light casing to get to it.
Hi Oleg. I'm stuck because it's night. I will attack it again tomorrow. I think I ran into the same problem as you did. The bottom headlight bolt goes through a tab that extends far down, behind a large plastic structure in front of the headlight. Is that the thing you're talking about? The four screws are not obvious. Any hints would be greatly appreciated.
Oh im fuckin pissed because I ordered two new headlights... I go to put them in because every car I've ever had it was either just screws or tabs on the top... easy fix. I go to do this and have to look up a fuckin video only to find out this bullshit... fuck them
What a fucked up mess. I just tried to do mine and couldn't get it and suspected something like this so came in the house to view it on RUclips and you confirmed my nightmare. I just need to replace the low beam but there's not much clearance in there and lots of sharp things to cut the back of your hand on. Going to wait for a warmer day and undo the top bolt and try just leaning the assembly out a little hoping that gives me the clearance I need. Piss poor design for a wear part overall.
John Meshna Just a heads-up. You also have a retaining tab at the bottom of the head light. I just slid my head lamp to the outside and worked just in case.
Yeah you don’t have to take the number off.. you pop the hood and reach behind the headlight and pull out the light and change it then pop the light back in the light hole

Thanks for the guide, very clear and correct explanation, I had a navigation cable tight against the front bomper.

Thank you so much for this video. I had no idea we had to do this to get to it. Glad you showed us.
Thank you

Why not make a video?
Ok no fuck that, it's easier to just take the fuckin bumper off
thank you so much for posting this I need to replace mine on my 2012 grand caravan and I was lost and their is nothing on how to do this job
Steven Langford Yeah no problem. This was why I made one as nothing was out. Thank goodness for coworkers!
Steven Langford same. Thank you!
Thanks a lot, I have same problem with leak water inside
Thank you for the details in the video.
Thanks helped me get my bulb replaced in 30 minutes.
Scott Yu. I am glad the video helped you out.

What was causing the leak?
You need to remove 4 more screws that holding plastic bracket in front of the headlight to remove headlight from the vehicle.
Ok thanks for the info. I made a part 2 to this video of how you can slide it out to the outside and it will come out as well. Glad you got it out.
Oleg Kagan yes this video does not show that. Oleg is right.

Be careful with the bumper to fender clip they fucking break every time so when you put it back together it looks like it was hit
Thanks for posting this. This confirms my fears of having to take the whole front panel off. Sigh. Afternoon ruined. Appreciate the info though.
bruceboice Welcome. Yeah it is a hassle. Takes about 15 minutes though. At least you don't have to take off the entire bumper . Glad it helped you.
@@jmfut unless you're changing both... like me... smh...
Thanks for convincing me not to do this.

No shit?
He's not replacing the actual bulbs 🤦🏽♂️ He's replacing the fixture because of the condensation build up.
Of all the places you could put a magnetic bolt holder, why you would choose directly on the fender/paint is beyond me.
Ha ha. Really. No paint was harmed while filming this video.
My same headlight is doing the same
Thumbs up for the instructions, thumbs down to Chrysler for this stupid process. Verified works for 2010 Dodge Grand caravan.
Holy fuck
