I had a 56 with a 392 hemi. Couldn't keep it in a straight line. Too much of a good thing. I first met god trying to stop the thing.

I have more of a problem with a the wacky wheel sizes that people use nowadays. so many nice old body styles ruined by modern looking 35 inch rims and fork lift tires. this ones not too bad. I've seen some really bad choices though.

That's the price you pay for a flip front. They could have put in way more guide pins and it would have looked a little better. That's the reason they had to do away with the front bumper also. On my 56, I envisioned the whole front with uncut fenders , sliding forward to clear the cowl , with the bumper, and then riding upward at a 30 degree angle before it all tilts. It would be secured by threaded studs that come through the cowl and inside the cab for a very positive lock down...and then I gave up and abandoned the entire project LOL!
