Alessde03 Reviews I like it a lot as well but never listened to it in full when it first came out so I don’t have the nostalgia most people have with this album. So in my opinion I do think it’s a little overrated as well.

Mason Abbott both are my most played from this project the atmosphere is incredible

I know this comment is a year old, and I'm not OP, but I have the VMP MM..Food vinyl. It's super beautiful and a great pressing. If you can get your hands on it I would spring for it. It's better than the reprint since it cleared a couple more samples, and doesn't have the tracks out of order. The only one they couldn't clear was Kookies, but it's still a good track without all the samples.

I got the re-issue for this album from Turntablelabs, had 2 copies, they both skipped alot, got 2 more copies, and THOSE skipped. I waited a few months and got 2 copies from Target and those skipped. Did you find that you had issues with this album or did they work fine?
If different records are consistently skipping I'd say its an issue with your player itself and not the vinyl.
Both of you are right! I forgot about this comment but I did talk with a few records people here and found out it was my player.
@@StarbyStarstar What player were you using ? And which player does it play without skips now? Asking since I'm planning on getting me a copy of this :)
it was a sorta old 3 in 1 record player. It has a radio and a cd player built into it. when i get home i'll reply again with brand. I went to our local record store and they explained sometimes older players struggle playing newer vinyls and that could have been an issue as they haven't had any issues with this particular record.
@@StarbyStarstar Yeah I've been reading that a lot online that the whole skipping issue has to so with the record player itself. I guess I just need to take the risk and buy em cause that vinyl is just so pretty! Thanks for the reply btw :)

Logan MT Fair comment. Vinyl is a little different than CDs. Usually albums of this length are stretched onto 2 or more discs due to the engineer wanting to add more detail to the pressing. This is supposed to result in a higher quality audio experience.
