Nice video, liked it a lot. I did like at all the tools you have listed. What is the knife you used to block cut your leather? Looks very nice and sharp.
The trim knife I used was from Makers Leather Supply. It’s a great little knife. Here’s a link - makersleathersupply.com/collections/makers-tools-and-knives/products/the-little-helper-knife
Hi there sir. What type of leather and what thickness for a belt should I get for jeans that will last decades? I know nothing about belts. Do they make them out of one piece of leather or 2 glued together? Which will last longer? Which type of animal leather is the best? Thank you.
Things do look much darker in this video than they actually are. In the evening to do tend to turn off the lights in the retail store, but the workshop remains fairly well lit.
Another great video and leather work! Where can a guy find that stitching gauge attached to your sewing machine? Also what size needle do you use for a project like this? Great work again.
Been waiting for Odin to show us another project. Beautiful
More to come!
Did you check out the wine tote video from a couple weeks ago?

Love the color of that buffalo.
Me too! The grain, color and temper of the leather look great. We’ll be making rifle slings out of it too.

Wonderful craftsmanship! It looks very dark in your shop. Do you have it like that all the time, or just for videos?

Check with with the Leather Machine Co. They should have that guides. I normally use a size 22 needle with 138 thread on this machine.
When making products, how do you know what to charge people?
Brother where did you get that template
I make and sell these templates on my website. I hope you give it a look. Here’s a link - odinleathergoods.com/collections/acrylic-templates.
