- Follow along with me as I make a simple Italian leather clutch with a wrist strap. We call it the Elle Clutch (named after one of our favorite people). It's a simple but highly functional design that will be liked by tons of people. This version is made with a beautiful Italian vegetable-tanned vachette leather. Details on where to find this leather and many of the other tools I use are below.

Do you guys ever do classes? I've been wanting to learn how to make wristlet purses
Beautiful
Thank you
😍 stunning
Very nice. Super clean. What spray on cement, do you use?
Don't know what he uses, but I've found that Krylon spray adhesive works the best for leather products.
I like you're content. I think you do a great job at getting good shots. Good camera positioning. Good job editing. But you need a better mic my guy. That would make the world of difference. You can't hear any of the ASMR sounds at the moment. I think sounds really important so I suggest you don't get a cheap mic. I really just mean that because I want to see you do well and I really like your channel man. I wish you the absolute best and think you're awesome. Truly. Cheers brotha
Beautiful !

Such a simple, yet elegant design. Well done! Using spray adhesive for the liner is a brilliant idea!
I don’t always use spray adhesive (because it can be so expensive and I don’t particularly like the fumes) but its very helpful when you need to work quickly or only have a couple pieces to do. Oddly enough, for bigger production runs where we’re doing a bunch of pieces at one time, a paint roller works great to apply the glue quickly to largers areas.
hello Odin, very satisfying to watch your calm video and tidy workshop! Can you please tell what kind of paint roller you use for glueing? I usually use firm short brush but it can get really heavy and slow to work like that..spray is a true revelation but I would prefer this roller..sounds great
I came here from the MakingIt Podcast and subscribed!
That’s awesome!!! I’ve been a big fan of the Making It podcast for years.
Awesome work! Very relaxing to listen to. I'm curious though, at the 7:25 minute mark you use a black cube to, I'm assuming, Burnish the edge that you just edged, what was the cube?
Hi Odin ,Thank you for posting .I'm new to the leather craft world and could use any guidance that I can get..lol. What oz leather did you use for the clutch?
Good evening, what kind of glue do you use? I would really appreciate it. Blessings. Best regards from Lima-Peru.
Muy lindo tu trabajo
De Argentina saludos
Hermoso trabajo muy fino
I hand stitch cause them walking foot machines leave them marks plus hand stitched is way more durable. You know how many bags, wallets etc from big names that I repair cause they are machines stitched and if 1stitch comes undone it spreads hand stitched though doesn't since its pretty much tied off every stitch. I once redone a holster that was hands stitch and I had to cut every single stitch and pull it out with tweezer. I made my mind up then I'm saddle stitching every item. I would like to know what you're using iafter you burnish in the lighter brown bottle? I'm always looking to have perfect edges and new ideas.
I will achieve this level craftsmanship.
