    Can I just say whoever set up the lighting for this video nailed it

    I'll leave a comment, as you gotta start somewhere. I use a ITT PVS14 Gen 3plus with a Wilcox G24 Dove Tail mount, Wilcox Amber lens for more light n protect my eyes. Set up with a Wilcox Dove Tail weapon mount n view through a Trijicon IR n red dot. I often use a 3 n 5x magnifying glass for hand recon type work. I also field with my Trijicon REAP-IR thermal scope with a lower profile double cam lever mount n a rail extension specifically designed for the Trijicon REAP-IR thermal scope, always pack IR n especially thermal poncho with coverage of body, gear, weapons.
    Using that combo has n will always be my own the night. I use Steiner IR military laser Dbal A3 duel IR n project additional green IR down range. It's done everything I've ever needed it to perform but does add additional weight to my LWRC M6 SPR with a small reverse rubber hook forward hand stop n additional 4 hrs battery n snakes. Helmet is setup strictly for PVS14 mono by either eye flipped up not in use. Carry n know your weight limits on gear or you'll break your neck. I hate clip-ons setups, also be aware of lightning up your face n head. Or you won't be at chow n story hour at the school house. Just my 2 cents, ole paradog now n 90% dead. There's tons of things you need to know to survive using any type of enhanced equipment. Use n carry additional eye cups. I use 250lb small line to tie off all my cups. ALWAYS use some type of leash or corded tie off to your gear. Having a breakaway at full sprint n battle rattle you'll wish you had.
    Now that our fraudulentecy left night eyes n advanced weapons n ammo n n munitions to field for the Taliban n IRG n ISIS, Hamas ect amongst others. Our future fights are going to be extremely difficult where we once owned the night.

    I started with thermal and then got nvg and wish I would have started with nvg I got out amd used it more as I can navigate with it and do all the fun night hikes both play critical roles

    Me and my dad are looking at budget stuff. Our question is: NVG10 or a thermal scope to adapt to an helmet mount with around a 1000€?

    Do thermals emit ir light that is highly visible by someone else wearing nightvision?

    • @Arkayne
      @Arkayne  Год назад +3

      They Emit nothing. They only gather infrared. They do not need illuminators, they do not need ANY ambient light to work. They can ALSO work in sunlight/daylight conditions whereas NV will be destroyed.

    • @V4Vendetta2020
      @V4Vendetta2020 Год назад +3

      @@Arkayne thank you for the response. The fact they do not emit IR light gives thermals a huge advantage over NV's in a recce mountain situation.

    Night Vision first because lasers don't work with thermal.
