- Walking in the rain in Downtown Seattle, beginning at 4th and Pike, then loop the Pike Place Market and 1st, then walk back up through Pine St and then through Denny Triangle.

The cobblestones, the rain, the relaxation of it all. I absolutely see myself booking a weekend trip just to read, sleep, and enjoy the herbs.
Whenever I feel homesick for Seattle, these videos make me feel better. A little slice of home.

100% agreed! I absolutely love Seattle, and I long for the day when I can live there again! I was born there, raised there, moved to California and felt out of place. I definitely left my heart in Seattle, and one day I'll get it back!
That's me and the NYC videos. I'm only watching these now because there's a 50-50 chance I might get relocated to Seattle thanks to my promotion at work. It's either Seattle or returning home to NYC!

At 3rd and pine is the old Bon Marche...and 5th and pine is the old Frederick and Nelson...I lived on Capitol hill, worked at Frederick and Nelson, and got by BS in Botany from UW... 1970 to 1975...so different yet so familiar...ty ❤
The best Seattle walk through of down town I have seen yet. Lived there many years ago and it is nice to see what remains and what ha changed.

Lived in Seattle all through the 80s. Used to work at The Snug on 2nd and Pike. Wish I had taken videos back then to show how different the city is today.

Seattle the city perfect a city is , l wish the Rain werent then it would be the better , the streets , the buildings , the clean the roads really is ideal to walk . Only heres l dont know ,😁 if here l Come alone that then absolutely l May get lost 😄

Hard to tell but from what I'm seeing on the ground and the sounds I'm hearing on the mic, (an umbrella perhaps?) this seems like the normal drizzle. I was there earlier in October with a buddy who'd never been to the northwest before and honestly? The drizzle wasn't bad at all. Like my hoodie got damp but nothing soaked through or anything. Wasn't uncomfortable for me at all, but I've lived in Portland for a few years where the rain is a little more than a drizzle... Well I mean it does drizzle there but it actually RAIN rains there more than Seattle it seems... But I've seen a downpour or 2 in Seattle before too. Just not as often. And NYC? Man it REALLY rains there... Anyway... theres that.XD
I used to live in pt orchard. I watch these videos hopin to see my lost daughter. She lived in new orleans until 4 yrs ago she stole money from us & moved to seattle with no word . Her first born son & i found her online in jail. Then released with out whereabouts. Her name is Heidi WB dob 3-31-84

I’m making 27$ an hour with no college degree. Cost of living is higher but wages and jobs are better. People are making 20$ and hour at McDonald’s

Ugh. Seattle. Passive-aggressive, unfriendly, clannish, snotty people. Better think twice about moving there. And the gray wet days go on and on and on. I'll watch some other rain walks, this brings back bad memories from living there - a short time.

I lived in Seattle...Capitol hill..and worked DT ...but that was in 1970 to 1975....what a beautiful city it was and very friendly people. Sorry to hear it changed so much
I loved living there, never had any of those problems. And I love the PNW weather. Maybe it was hard meeting people because of your attitude ...
