I watched a dozen of my artistic friends all have to move away because we just couldn't afford the city anymore

I visited Seattle years ago..Stayed downtown.. nice to see that a lot of it hasn't changed! I love seeing the monorail track. I went with friends and we couldn't stop singing The Simpsons Monorail song when we rode it.. I'm sure we drove everyone crazy that was on it with us. We must have rode it 5 times in the 3 days we were there for! LOL My old friends also got engaged at the art glass center there!
When I lived in Seattle I would clock in about 10 miles a day just walking around downtown and seeing all there is to see. Walkable cities are the best.
The snow is very beautiful. But you should realize that Seattle rarely gets this much snow. Having lived here 31 years, I'd say we get a snowfall like this just a few times per decade. More often than not, winter goes by with no more than a few flurries, if that. And the summers keep getting hotter . . . .
@@OldHeathen1963 flurries, but also a LOT of ice. Seattle has many steep hills, and even a few inches of snow on top of compacted ice can shut the place down. It'll melt a bit during the day, then hard freeze again overnight into treacherous terrain.

AMEN 🙏🏾! My Beautiful city is under the Protection of GOD 🙏🏾!
I remember driving through here a few years ago. This exact street. I want to go back
I visited Seattle years ago..Stayed downtown.. nice to see that a lot of it hasn't changed!
Ohh boi! Passed many times from here, even drank Coffee from Starbucks. It’s calm more with the ❄️ also there aren’t many people at this time! ♥️
Now this is what I call Holiday Season! 😍Beautiful Just Beautiful
Hello kiarya!!! How are you doing? Hope am not being rude for writing you first??

Like a Winter Dream! Thank you.
I LOVE LIVING IN DOWNTOWN AND I LOVE THE COLD WEATHER AND SNOW, GREAT HIDEF VIDEO
And the summers keep getting hotter . . . .
A few flurries? That's what we get in Maine in late September through Halloween! 😂
@@OldHeathen1963 flurries, but also a LOT of ice. Seattle has many steep hills, and even a few inches of snow on top of compacted ice can shut the place down. It'll melt a bit during the day, then hard freeze again overnight into treacherous terrain.
Это русская зима, но у нас города не такие серые и людей много.
