This year I started dancing at a new dance studio and even though it's been really hard getting used to the different technique, I really am trying to do my best. Honestly this video was spot on. Also, to every dancer starting at a new studio/ballet school, I wish you all the best! 🩰✨💕

Thank you , as a teacher sometimes this advice given with care often gets the eye roll , but coming from a new generation I hope will help with the mental health and well being of artists , and learn to appreciate the process and it’s worth it regardless to contracts and company work . Always find a school you are happy in and watch the progress x love your thoughts .

Thank you so much, this means a lot. Mentally this art is very challenging and demanding, as an artist you must not only learn how to take care of yourself physically but also psychologically. It is so important

Hi Hannah! This is Mimi from Taiwan. I really like your contents as I'm always curious about the behind-the-scenes of professional ballet dancers. You're such an inspiration to me! It gives me a sense of hope whenever I think of your quote “Dream big, and make it happen! ” on a gloomy day. I dropped out of ballet three years ago and am currently preparing for my college entrance exam; your words really encourage me whenever I start to doubt myself. Thank you so much>3

Allow me to introduce myself. When I was 5 years old, I danced ballet for a year. I then quit because I moved to different country. I then figure skated for about 6 months, maybe a little more. Later on I swam competitively, eventually ended up dancing hip-hop at my school and at a local studio for nearly 2 years!
I am currently 13 and I will be turning 14 this month, on the 18th!
I recently joined a professional ballet school in the vicinity, I am really enjoying my lessons (3 times a week, 1 hour and 30 minutes). At the moment, I am in a group with 10 year olds however, my teacher had told me that she will put me into a group that's around my age (the girls there are already en pointe).
Tomorrow I will be having my 6th lesson, and I'm really excited.
I do a deep stretch daily, that lasts nearly 2 hours. On the contrary, I do some pilates to further aid me. I try my best at class every time, I try to remember all of my corrections, I also rehearse what I did at class at home.
I'm already begging to see changes, my flexibility has improved immensely, my strength has increased, my coordination and my overall performance. I feel stronger than before, I also see my self losing weight in specific locations.
I am really trying to stay dedicated to ballet, and I have begun taking it much more seriously. I would appreciate any kind of advice, thank you for reading this lengthy comment of mine. I wish you all a good day, or night (I apologize if my English isn't too good, it isn't my mother language. I also wrote this in a hurry).

Hey Hannah. Love your videos. Just want to give you a tip since you said you want to improve your audio. I’m not sure what program you use to edit your videos but I would recommend you Look up a tutorial on editing audio especially how to edit out those little pops you hear sometimes at the start of a new cut. It will make for a smoother transition.

Hiii, I don't know if you're gonna see this but.. My name is Holland, I am 14 years old, and I know nothing of the ballet world. I started ballet in October (2021), and the studio I currently am in does not seem to be working for me. I feel like I am not learning anything and I am not getting the corrections that I need. So I was thinking about trying to go to the School of Ballet Arizona, but I, again, know nothing of the ballet world. Should I try it? Would I even be able to pursue ballet starting at 14 with no prior experience? How do ballet schools even work? lol, sorry for basically telling you my life story but if you could help me that would be great. Thank you!

Omg these are so helpful and comforting 🥲🤍 Although I'm not in a ballet school but I felt so much more better because I'm currently struggling with A-math and I'm the oldest in class and all the other students had A-math background but I don't. I felt really stupid and I was beating myself up like, why can't I do it like the rest? But it is true like what you said, I'm on a different pathway and just because I'm not great at doing A-math, it doesn't mean that I'm going to be any less successful, it doesn't mean I'm any less of a person. Anyways A-math sucks because it's not like it's going to be any useful in my life. And also, like what you said in the video, I have to learn from teachers and try to to take it different perspectives of learning and I also try to ask my friends if I need any help.

Keep strong. Dont forget that despite the evil in this world, God is full of justice, mercy and love.
Justice said we broke His perfect law - causing the world's previous perfection to be destroyed - and therefore we deserve Hell (like a punishment in any legal system but this is eternal as His perfect law is eternal too). Don't think you fit in that category? Ever done one of these?: lying, stealing - regardless of how small the object EVER, hating others - which is murder in God's perfect law, lusting (plus God sees our entire thought life). Justice says "the soul that sins shall die".
BUT, mercy said "I dont want to give them what they deserve. I don't want them to be cut off from Me. I love them despite all they have done/will do against Me. I want to give My children another chance. I want them to come home and live in My love again".
And love said "Jesus, God's Son, came down as a Man, our representative, suffering every temptation, pain and struggle we have ever faced, yet without sin. He took all our sins (past/present/ even future) to the cross and then crucified EVERY ONE on our behalf. Justice was paid on the cross so that we can be free from Hell's punishment, experience Gods mercy of forgiveness of sin and live in His love. If we turn from the sins we have committed and repent (turn away from our sin and pursue the opposite direction of love through Christ) He will, overtime, recreate us back into that previously perfect image through The Holy Spirit which Jesus sends to all who accept Him as their personal Lord and Savior of their life.
He is in Heaven right now preparing a place for us so that He can take His faithful, believing children home with Him when He returns. He will ressurrect us from death when He returns, giving mercy to those who accept His love, instruction and teachings in their life, and give justice to those who refuse it.
He doesn't want ANY of us to go to Hell and die for continuing in evil and rejecting His way to life, thats why He died FOR us. He wants us to be His and begin to follow His life of love and service through Him (not ourselves as it's impossible without depending on His power and instruction). So long as we keep our hearts near to Christ through His strength, strive to obey His will of perfect love revealed in the Bible, and ask Him to help us in the midst of (very certain) pitfalls and struggles, we will, in time, win the victory over sin, pain and DEATH through Christ. Even if you are willing to be made willing, or struggling or doubtful, simply be honest and tell Him that. He is not intimidated by ANY sin or struggle you are facing. ANY. He hears and will answer. If we pray for Him to come in, regardless of the condition, then He will.
NOTE: You are NEVER too sinful or messed up that God cannot turn your life around through Jesus. EVER.
If you have any questions let me know
    X
