Do you hear the music in the background when she enters the house? That's what you can expect, even worse, 24/7. There is no way to protect yourself from that in Mexico. If you get noisy neighbors who want to blast their music from 6AM until 4AM you are SOL.
That might be why the owners are selling.

What a nasty comment. Are you jealous because you can't live in a house like this? I explained that it's only 4-5 blocks from the park and another few blocks to the malecon where lots of festivities take place. Some people like to be near what's happening. And that music was joyful construction workers singing as they worked. Who are you, the Christmas Grinch?

@@Cactii101I agree, that’s the number one reason why I don’t move to Mexico. Besides violence and crime 😅

Good morning. Do you know if people will rent to expats for a week... if they have a dog? I want to visit and check Chapala/Lakeside and a few other towns before I settle in. You are right that circumstances inside the U.S are going to get pretty intense. I hope to move in February 2025.

You need to look into air b and b places. Feb is still high season so prices will reflect, but there are some that accept small dogs with an extra deposit.

@@RanchodelLago2021 --Thank you. I had an issue with Air bnb in the past and they blocked me from renting. A MAGA type female who advertised for a pet friendly spot tried to hit me with $180 for a rug plus cleaning fees plus overnight fees. It was a mess. I can use VRBO.

I agree and that's what I did. If you go to my channel and look at earlier videos you'll see that I bought land and am homesteading with about 100 animals. I came to Mexico, to the lake, to write and paint but it evolved into a farm.
