Ok guys can't we literally scale Hody to Jones to Moon lvl? I mean my calcs might be wrong and I am stretching it a little but he can be scaled to Multi-continental easily. So if Gear 3rd luffy was arguably Moon lvl during fishman island then we can easily scale him to small star lvl
@@blackcatpirates8134 remember the pills have side effect ( more power = decrease life), if hody Jones would have continue to used pills to increase his strength. He would died before reaching moon level.

I find it incredibly likely that he had the fruit the whole time, as well as the other crew members. Notice how Burgess threw a building during the fight with ace (meaning he already had his buff buff fruit) and Doc Q already had his sick fruit shown by his horridly sick appearance.

I don't think any of them had their fruits except Laffitte, considering that the Blackbeard crew didn't become known as devil fruit hunters until they became a yonko crew. They never used any of these abilities pre-timeskip, like against Ace or in Impel Down.
