    I like the idea of laudry in the bathroom. That's where lot of laundry ends up anyways.

    I would prefer a bed that can be raised for more storage. Then just a regular bed that you can't put anything under it then plastic containers. To keep the dust out of your stuff and keep your things clesner.

    Thanks for showing this. It's really beautiful. I prefer a living room like this without the built-in entertainment area so you have more choices of how to arrange furniture.

    People over 55 should not be on a ladder cleaning the crown over the window. It is a dust collecter. Keep it simple to clean.

    I love this home and the washer and dryer in the bathroom. Had to laugh at the "folding laundry on the toilet" comment .😅 we're 54 with an 8yr old to still raise and I know that's not the norm for your customers however it is more common that most people think. So I'd need a 2nd bedroom and maybe it should be a loft🤔😁

      Yes it's pretty common. Our neighbors just adopted their newborn granddaughter and they are in their 60's. I didn't see any Skylines with lofts, but there are many manufacturers with lofts. Check out our other videos and you may see some.

    Very nice. Just needs a little rejigging including a bigger closet in the bedroom. If the TV goes behind Tammy then how can you watch TV comfortably with the couch where it is. Looks like there is no other place for the couch? Looks like a quality build though otherwise.

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  6 месяцев назад +5

      If you look at the floor plan at the 14 minute mark, they suggest the TV to be on the wall to the right as you walk in, which would be ok, but not perfectly ideal. You could also opt out of the window to the left of the dining table and give yourself the option of that wall as well. We like the idea of 2 recliners ourselves - that adds a little more flexibility. Don't forget you can always get a TV mount that extends out from the wall and swivels and tilts so you can store it flat against the wall but point it any way you want when you wish to watch it.

      @50pluslife360 i would take the left window out. That would be more ideal. I wonder if they would let me add the window somewhere else? Its probably my favorite one thus far. Thanks for sharing!

    Love the house! I’m kinda curious on your reasoning for not putting the thermostat over the return (understood) but they have it mounted right across from stove. Looks to me that would be the same situation, being in a “hot “ zone. My opinion.

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  6 месяцев назад

      I'm not an HVAC guy but I have a few ideas. In most homes the therm is mounted in a hallway or central location. This keeps it away from most windows and doors to avoid the thermal changes as doors are opened and windows allowing warm or cool air inside. Secondly, with most newer appliances the heat leakage is much less than what used to be; add to that the better efficiency of ventilation; this means less heat is actually released into the home. It doesn't eliminate all heat loss from the stove/oven, but reduces it more than days gone by. While probably not the perfect place for the therm, it is not actually bad. In a tinier home, the heat from the oven can saturate the whole home. I remember when young, I grew up in a 14x70 mobile home and it was very hot in there when mom was cooking for Thanksgiving or Christmas. The therm closer to the stove would actually help during these type events by turning on the AC and keeping the house at a reasonable temp when the added heat from cooking was introduced. Just some thoughts. Appreciate the comment - it's a very good question! Thank you for watching!

    Are these stick built, made with SIPS, or like mobile homes? I must know the construction before I look or call.

    • @50pluslife360
      @50pluslife360  6 месяцев назад

      These are manufactured homes, built to HUD standards. Skyline has a lot of detailed information on their website regarding the construction. The link to their website is in the video description.
