Michelle Staunton and sister Angelique, I have a question. I have only been saved for 7 years, most of my life not knowing Christ. I understand that women cannot be senior pastors of a church as they are not meant to lead in that way. But if a woman has a conversation with a man, maybe in crisis or having trouble, and he is not saved is she then able to teach him about what Jesus did for us that we may be free and have everlasting life? Can she share the Good News of the Gospel? Or maybe if the woman is on mission in another country. The same question. Can she speak to a group of people who are of another faith or faithless, and share the teachings of Jesus with them? This is something I have been curious about and get differing opinions on. I am truly asking not as an argument, but to learn and understand.

She was/is just as equal, just as glorious, just as worthy of honor and existence. I appreciate them for their careful and godly approach to the story of the Woman. However, as a young Black woman who has never had meaningful or pleasurable relationships with men (being fatherless, being used sexually in the past, etc. but never really knowing, loving or being loved by a man), this was painful. I want to learn to trust men. I want to believe that the help of a man is in the perfect and loving will of Yah for my life. It hurts to have to accept that there is a world of loving men who pursue the heart of Yah that I've just never crossed paths with. Yahweh, My Greatest Love, please show me how to trust men and see myself as someone worth honoring, loving and leading. amen.

I can relate to that. For so many years I was one of those women that Preston talked about at the beginning, the kind of overzealous feminists that are low key kind of scary, but since coming back to God He is helping me to grow and begin to see how he created me. He is also helping me to learn to trust men again. All my life I couldn’t even allow myself to feel attracted towards men but now I’ve begun to care for someone and while I’m not sure if it is God’s plan, I know that it is evidence of his healing power and grace. Praised be to the lord almighty!
I’m in awe!!!! The way God used this couple to reveal this life changing revelation!!! I’m single and absolutely in love with Christ this not only gives me excitement to submit to my future husband but also to God right now!
me too! people need encouragement to do God's will! Daddy knows best! :) The Christian life might not always be easy but it feels good to know there is true order and purpose in God's guidelines/commandments also keeping in mind that He has plans to prosper each one of us male or female and not to harm us or belittle us in any way - to know that His plans are good and He truly wants what's best for everyone!
Submission means allowing another to make decisions for you or giving another authority over you. Many women r just cautious, they don’t want to be exploited by an abusive husband
@@elizabethyeboah-kodie2718 abusive men are not Godly men. I don’t understand why I keep hearing this. I’m disappointed that the world and the church don’t teach women how to heal from trauma to avoid picking those men. Through therapy and healing through Christ. I understand the concern but I’m tired of seeing this as a first line of defense instead acknowledging that abusive men and controlling men can be avoided and that there are healthy brothers out there. You have to be attracted to that. Because I’ve seen a lot of broken women say that but we’re afraid of stability and peace. I’m trying to say this in love but I’m tired that I see more women going out their way to defend dysfunction then healing and trusting God to show you a healthy individual

This message empowered my marriage to spark the conversation of his headship in my household. My husband feels it’s an organic feeling he was given by God to provide and lead his family. It’s his calling. I was blessed by this discussion. “I influence my husband more than anybody in this world. Which is a scary responsibility…because that means my opinion matters to him. If my heart is not submitted to God then my influence will be manipulative, but if my heart is submitted to God that means my influence will help him honor God the best way he can.” - Jackie Hill Perry
The father has a headship in the trinity and Jesus submits PERFECTLY, but this does not mean that Jesus is less God then the father!! I absolutely LOVE this. So good
Christianity is a hell of a drug.and In this video two things he gave a prayer with his head covered and she has on pants.that let's me know that they are just like the Church.not teaching our people to keep the Commandments and not just the 10 that Christians and Baptists talk about.there are 613

AI3xZJE41 YT We aren’t called to do all 613. By your logic we should be sacrificing animals at a temple to atone for sin when Christ already did that for us. Christ already kept the law for us so once we believe in Christ we are declared righteous. Christ FULFILLED the law for us because you can’t perfectly follow the law in your own power. You can sin in your mind and heart so you will always fail but the glory about Christ is that he was without sin and could do it for us. I feel sorry for people like you who are self righteous enough to think you can do all 613 perfectly. And you’re a hypocrite because you know you’re not doing every single one of them yourself😂

"Love your wife into submission". I believe that is the key! I think it is easier to submit to someone who you trust that has your best interest at heart. Therefore, if you know that your husband loves you as he loves himself, he will lead you accordingly and submission will be easy
I came back to this video and happened to look at a comment I wrote last year. I have gotten now to see loving men single and married. Still happily single but the difference God has made in only a year. Thanks be to God.
Never knew the history on their relationship before but s/o Preston for not being ashamed to express his feelings for Jackie even knowing her history as a lesbian.
millerny10 Why would Preston feel ashamed to express his feelings due to Jackie's past history of being involved with women. She had repented...correct? Would it be any different had she been involved with men? Does Preston have a spotless experience in his past dating women? Was he celebate in his past? Trying to understand the hypocrisy.
Tracy Todd clearly he didn’t feel ashamed but I said what I said. Like it or not some Christians view being gay as worse off than other sins and I’m sure he did face some judgement from people when he decided to marry her but clearly he wasn’t bothered by it. I wonder why you’re looking so hard for the negative in a comment that wasn’t 🤔
@@Soundsliketara Yes....unfortunately the exgay status really trips Christians out. It's crazy. I chaulk it up to all the hateful hype tossed out through the past decades. Peter Wilson ok, fair enough. But to address your point. Love and submission aren’t the same thing. You cannot obey a sinner’s commands before God’s. However, you can love a sinner.
@@peterwilson4321how did you get sin & submission mixed up? That wasn’t logical. You can submit to sin & be in disobedience to God. Just because you don’t do what your wife wants in her disobedience doesn’t mean you don’t love her. It makes you a leader actually. If anything that’s a simp. The complete opposite of a leader & that’s how men get ran over by their wives & they don’t get respected. See how your disobedience comes with consequences for you if you’re a man? God bless you I pray Jesus gives you understanding on this 💯🙏🏽 Jesus didn’t submit to his disciples wants he stood on business but he was also very loving & humble. That’s what women want in a man. We’re looking for Jesus’s character in them 🫶🏽
All That Is Good The bible says the serpent talked to Eve. Everyone is assuming that Adam was there at the moment and they knew the serpent was the devil. I liked this presentation but they're assuming a few things in the Adam & Eve story that the bible doesn't say. They may have legitimate points but basically when many Christians tell the story they have Adam & Eve committing so many sins even before they eat the forbidden fruit and the bible just doesn't say that.
Oh Brother I was actually thinking that not too long ago... So, I’ll say to you that I don’t disagree with you @ all. But, I do believe one of a husbands duties to his wife is to make sure she is informed/knowledgeable. Hard to mislead... Mostly due to her seeking his counsel before she makes tough decisions. Nowadays when a woman is deceived by the Devil, let’s say for example to step out of her marriage for any reason... It’s usually because the husband is more consumed in something else more than he is in her. In Adam’s case it was God’s Work. Which I’m sure happens to many men married to Christian women who admire the Church and Pastor more than they do their husbands. Then... They slip in an affair from lack of attention. The way they depict the story is as if he was there... The way the Bible depicts it is as he was off somewhere most likely working. I’ve been reading the Pseudepigrapha just for fun - the full story of Adam & Eve and it depicts there being many events when Eve was deceived and a couple of them both. I guess... We’ll never know. One thing I do admire about the two... Regardless of who did what or let whatever happen, they stuck together. That’s love... Unconditional... Adam could’ve been REALLY mad at Eve... Her action took them out the Kingdom. But... It was all for good reason in the end.
What about the Bible stating that woman is the weaker vessel? The devil knew this apparently. Adam was FIRST...then EVE. There's the order and then the woman being the weaker vessel made her the best target. Something to consider....were Adam and Eve even aware that they had an enemy to contend with yet? Satan used the creature...the serpent...to talk to Eve. Soooo....were they aware yet? Or did Eve just think she was speaking with a creature? Why do you suppose Adam just stood there and allowed Eve to sin? What was Adams mind set?
All That Is Good Wasn't it ultimately ADAM'S sin that took THEM out of paradise? Adam was the head of the unit there. Say if Adam would have refused to eat the fruit and there by not sin...WHAT would have been the outcome? Would Eve been the only one killed off? Would Adam gotten another chance? Eve did not get an excuse and neither did Adam. They both got consequences.
All That Is Good How was that "unconditional" love to allow someone to do wrong? Are you sure God saw it that way? And weren't they more or less considered partners in crime?
You NAILED the picture caption! That is a message I’ve been telling couples for years. I’m very strong willed, opinionated, and was raised to be an independent feminist. However, there is no greater joy than to be in a marriage that follows the order and heart attitude of God’s design.
I am actually an "older" woman. Been married 30 plus years. Wish this had been taught when I was young but I can still apply this. So impressed with these 2 ministers. It seems they are really serious about Jesus and the Gospel. I grateful they are called to the ministry at this time. The main thing that caught me and made me really think was her comment about how our relationships reflect and affect how people see Jesus. God bless you guys. And thank you.

I love this for more than you all can understand! I had a dream that I was going to meet my husband soon. I presumed it would be on my upcoming Bible study trip to Chicago. So 3 days later when I met Preston in Chicago..I thought "Sweet! Thanks for the heads up God." God must have laughed but I genuinely thought he was it... but I didn't say anything, waiting for him to make a move cuz God would have said something to him... lol Preston was just as wonderful as you see him here but he was also pure and never led me on...I was so disappointed thinking God gave me false hope. Because of mutual friends we stayed in each other's lives for a couple years then I graduated college and lost touch... fast forward 4 years later I heard of Jackie and then heard her speak and I was SO GLAD for not telling Preston anything and possibly derailing this BEAUTIFUL GIFT OF A COUPLE that God has prepared for this generation. I love them both and THIS IS EVERYTHING. Jackie, you're a blessing and maybe one day we'll meet and maybe not but I'm glad that God favored Preston with you...

I'm always learning and I pray to God that I meet a godly husband so that we can do marriage the right way. Thank you so much, Jackie and Preston! May God protect you always and continue using you to reach us. We shall spread this message some more as well.
Wow. What an amazing godly couple! So grateful I stumbled across them. This is an powerful and insightful teaching on the roles in marriage and why it can glorify God. It's truly beautiful the potential that can be shown through a godly marriage. I recently came out of a messed up view of marriage and of submitting to a man. When you don't chose a godly man to lead you, that choice can really wreak havoc on your outlook of what God intended marriage to be. Now, I understand. Thank you Jackie and Preston! God bless you both!
God bless these young people! How awesome to see young people working in unity for the kingdom! This tremendously blessed me! I appreciate the teaching on godliness in marriage. It’s not a popular message but it was awesome how you tuned submission to obedience and stewardship! That did something for me! Thank you for the Word! I receive it! Stay true. Walk in obedience! Praise the LORD! Our God is awesome. I am so proud to sit under this Godly teaching about marriage from a young black couple in America. I am not being prejudiced. This kind of knowledge of the truth and rightly dividing the word of truth is uncommon in a stifling culture where divorce is idolized. I can see God bringing out His Reserves. Jesus Christ You are true and faithful and I bless Your Holy Name.
Blessed to have heard this message. Preston is a blessed man...I felt and needed the message. Even though I'm not married, the standards of a Godly man are still to have Godly dominion to represent God and to glorify Him!
This is what I'm talking about! If God can't do it, no one can! These two right here! They are young, however they know that it's cool to respect the gospel!
At 37:11 she meant *Deuteronomy 33:29 : "Blessed are you, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the LORD? He is your shield and helper and your glorious sword. Your enemies will cower before you, and you will tread on their heights."
This was great! God's word is good. It shows we where I have fallen short in my leadership. One of my biggest flaws in our relationship is cutting her (and anyone else for that matter) off in conversation.
I love this so much! I want to be a godly wife and submissive to my husband as God commands. He is not a believer so I have to depend on the Holy Spirit to show me how to do that. But if you guys have more advice for the unequally yoked or already spoke on it please share with me! Love you guys so much! God bless your beautiful family !
Read I Peter 3:1-6, my sister. It won't make sense to you to follow this Word, but we can't change anyone, esp our husband. I can testify that God has worked on my husband's heart and mind when I was obedient to God regarding this specific passage. After you read this, go back and read I Peter 2, and put it in context with I Peter 3.
I'm in this walk with you sisters! Praying for you all! I also started with 1 Peter 3:1-6...and it began a walk that has been hard at times, but very good. As I continue to walk, I meditate on scriptures about biblical womanhood i.e. Titus 2:3-5, Genesis 3, etc. and obey the commands as I pray for my husband's salvation. It's been 10 years now, but the Lord has been so kind to my marriage. I praise Him and thank Him daily for His love for us...even if my husband can't see Him! ❤️🙏
Brooke Zaldi I think if we look at honoring our husbands as honoring God our perspective changes. Asking and learning how our husbands feel loved or honored, and then applying it every day. I learned my husband feels loved when I feed him. Lol. So I make him breakfast every morning and feed him dinner every night. That way he starts and ends the day feeling loved/honored. Keeping 1 corinthians 13:4 in mind. Also studying proverbs 31 and what it really means. It can be difficult to honor our husbands when they aren’t walking with God or leading us spiritually, but honoring God is not difficult. Let Your affection be towards God first.
Thank you for this! I am a big believer of the headship and authority of the husband over the wife. But this doesn't mean "better than". It's simply a matter of role distinction between the male and female in the relationship! This is from someone who identifies as a strong woman of God! Yet I yield myself under the authority of my husband who is a good example of the patience and character of Christ! PTL!
This is the best teaching I have ever heard on headship and submission!! You both reiterated what I have learned about both of the topics after I came thru my divorce. I did learn some new gold nuggets! Looking forward to doing marriage differently and better this time. Thank you both! Praying for His continued favor upon you

Yahweh, My Greatest Love, please show me how to trust men and see myself as someone worth honoring, loving and leading. amen.
This entire comment is beautiful and let me know that I’m not alone in feeling the way that I do. May God bless you and walk with you daily in Jesus name.

Buy her book. Very inspirational.
Wowowow 💯💣💣💣
me too! people need encouragement to do God's will!

People see the word submission as a cuss word, but when you see yourself the way God intended He gives the grace to be all He called you to be.
Amen!
Say so!!!! Yes

They are awesome. She reminds me of Lauryn Hill.

This just taught me so much on how selfish I really truly am being in my marriage

Leadership is just a role, not an identity.
If my heart is not submitted to God then my influence will be manipulative, but if my heart is submitted to God that means my influence will help him honor God the best way he can.”
- Jackie Hill Perry
He didn't make submission easy but he made it possible. Amen. Amen. Amen.
Boom!!💥
The father has a headship in the trinity and Jesus submits PERFECTLY, but this does not mean that Jesus is less God then the father!! I absolutely LOVE this. So good
Christianity is a hell of a drug.and In this video two things he gave a prayer with his head covered and she has on pants.that let's me know that they are just like the Church.not teaching our people to keep the Commandments and not just the 10 that Christians and Baptists talk about.there are 613
@@TheRealZJE313 ahhhhh... tmh didnt call the righteous but sinners to repentance, wheres your compassion ach??..

AI3xZJE41 YT and based on your RUclips playlists you’re in no position to speak down to Christians because you are continuously breaking the law you’re so pridefully claiming everyone should do. 😂😂 and the 613 was given to Jews. Not foolish gentiles like yourself. Sit down somewhere child

Its never too late to start doing it the right way...
"Love your wife into submission". I believe that is the key! I think it is easier to submit to someone who you trust that has your best interest at heart. Therefore, if you know that your husband loves you as he loves himself, he will lead you accordingly and submission will be easy
Exactly 💯
I came back to this video and happened to look at a comment I wrote last year. I have gotten now to see loving men single and married. Still happily single but the difference God has made in only a year. Thanks be to God.
Never knew the history on their relationship before but s/o Preston for not being ashamed to express his feelings for Jackie even knowing her history as a lesbian.
millerny10
Why would Preston feel ashamed to express his feelings due to Jackie's past history of being involved with women.
@@Soundsliketara
Yes....unfortunately the exgay status really trips Christians out. It's crazy. I chaulk it up to all the hateful hype tossed out through the past decades. Jackie could've been just as cautious towards dating a man that had several girlfriends in his past but as the world goes...its not as "bad".
Sorry...I know the double standards of this world.

It’s November 2023. The Perrys had a child in this video. Now they have 4. The years went by but the message still carries immense weight. I’m thankful to God for His vessels speaking these words so boldly. I listened to the whole thing while walking in the park. What a blessing to understand submission whether I get married or not. Submission occurs with God and His will, my supervisors at work, my parents. It’s important to get it right.
Honestly love you guys. You are a prophetic voice to believers in these days. I’m much older than and have been a believer longer than y’all been breathing but yet God is using you to teach me!!

She is so very beautiful standing next to her husband. there was a trust and submission - or something> that just makes her so beautiful.

What an answered prayer this was!!! First time watching it, a whole 5 years after the fact… wow… thank you Jesus. Praise God!
"First of all, why you talking to the devil?"
Deep question.
I LOVED IT WHEN JACKIE SAID WE SHOULD NOT SUBMIT TO THE HUSBANDS IN SIN
Then surely the husband should not love the wife in sin based on your thinking.
Peter Wilson a husband who copies his wife’s actions is NOT a leader.
@@justonetime6179 If you read carefully what I said "based on her thinking" not that it is what the Husband should do.
We’re looking for Jesus’s character in them 🫶🏽
y'all this chemistry is real.

Husbands - Don’t let the Devil talk to your wife!
All That Is Good
The bible says the serpent talked to Eve.
All That Is Good
Wasn't it ultimately ADAM'S sin that took THEM out of paradise? Adam was the head of the unit there. Say if Adam would have refused to eat the fruit and there by not sin...WHAT would have been the outcome? Would Eve been the only one killed off? Would Adam gotten another chance? Eve did not get an excuse and neither did Adam. They both got consequences.
All That Is Good
How was that "unconditional" love to allow someone to do wrong? Are you sure God saw it that way? And weren't they more or less considered partners in crime?
Sweet souls. These two give me massive faith in up and coming leaders of Christ followers.
I love Jackie's chill freaking vibe, ugh..shes soo cute
" I Just started to grow this attraction , This affection towards Him." YES! THATS EXACTLY HOW IT HAPPENED FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND TO BE!!!!❤ and My Affection continued to grow for Him even though I rejected them , they never went away.
“These factors have not put sin IN us. They have only exaggerated what is already there.” That part...

I’m with you friend. It’s difficult. But doable.
I’ve been there. Wish I would have prayed more and talked less. He eventually genuinely found the Lord.
“You’ve been gleaning from ideas of womanhood from people that don’t know who created women” ✊🏾🔥
