    My best take whenever I order a Ramly burger: double beef with extra mayonnaise. I don’t like it to mix with eggs/omelette, cause it underwhelms the taste of the patties. Mind you, every Ramly burger stalls have different taste and seasoning. Maybe you need to try a different stall everyday to find the best one 😂😋 enjoy guys! 😀

      Ramly burger made beef patties in the beginning. It didn't sell as much. Even back then, burgers were seen as western cuisine and not part of daily meals. They realized there were people providing buns and other parts that made a burger, it wasn't as readily available. So they encouraged young entrepreneurs to open stalls by giving them a model for them to copy and supplying them with all the ingredients. The most popular locations were in front of 7-11s. The shops provided drinks while they provided food. The 7-11 didn't mind because it resulted in people coming to the store at all hours for burger and drinks

    Ramly used to be a butcher but part time worked at his stall with the wife. Patty was created at home in the beginning. Since being a butcher he knows what meat is good for the burger. That was in the 1980s. Like they say, the rest is history.

    For ramly burger history.. Before ramly was created, western food like burger & steak that brought in the country had unknown halal status. So most of the malay/ muslim citizen were sceptical amd doubt whether the food can be eat. So the founder, Ramly Mokni starter his own burger stall on 1979 and sell it on street. On 1984 the ramly food chain company was brought out to cater clean and quality halal western food to the malaysian. You may find many Ramly's food shop selling beef patty, steak meat & etc.

    I'm glad Pete liked the burger haha. In Korea there is also a thing with lots of foods being sweet, especially bread and some western people I meet don't like the sweetness in Bread.
    I noticed your last couple of videos, have you been using a new camera for your A roll? It feels like it but maybe I'm wrong.
    Another great video c:

    • @StephandPete
      @StephandPete  2 года назад +3

      A roll is still my Sony ZV1, but this had a good bit of B roll from my a6000 which I’m more sporadic about it using. Re: sweet stuff- I do not understand the cult following surrounding Isaac toast and I think that’s why.

      @@StephandPete Ahhh, maybe it was the Canon. I noticed some scenes where you had a surprisingly shallow depth of field I hadn't noticed much before. Great to know c: I always find it a hastle to switch between cameras so I feel when I buy a big camera at the end of the year, I'll use my pockets less and less as it'll be convenient to just shoot most things on a single versatile camera.

    Usually when I eat ramly burger I don't like putting too much sauce. Just mayonnaise will be fine. The taste of burger patty itself is just delicious enough for me.

    Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company.
    The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia.
    Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia.
    They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.

    Each Ramly burger vendor puts their own individual spin on it, so every Ramly burger all-over Malaysia is different...
    Ramly started as a meat supplier for college kids or youths to make extra money...Ramly provides the burgers buns and wrappers to them at a members discount . And it's a very effective economic idea to empower rural youths to be financially independent...Now there's Ramly everywhere in Malaysia and some has made it into a career by owning a few kiosk in the state , in front of their own homes or in front of every 7 eleven.
    Enjoy your stay in Malaysia
