There was another public school that prevented a student from flying a flag from his truck. After it gained media attention someone donated a “Stars & Stripes” wrap for his truck. They couldn’t stop him from that.
In any case, this should be an obvious lawsuit for breach of his 1A rights.

As a Retired Disabled Veteran I'm disgusted. My Dad, Mom, Brother and Sister were all in the US Army and gave over 84 years of Active Duty Service. It hurts to hear this crap.

My great great great grandfather fought in the union army during the civil war. He is turning in his grave he was friends with former Confederate soldiers from the war,, and he told my great grandmother, who I talked to, that the former Confederates are the most patriotic Americans. Former Confederates are ok at least they are patriotic.

In my humble opinion, the student should have refused and brought suit against the school/school board! Retreating when we encounter such subversive behavior only allows these dangerous individuals and their respective policies to gain more ground.

When they calculate the inflation rate both food and gas are omitted. Apparently, it's because those items are too volatile to provide an accurate figure. Interesting is that those are the 2 most important areas for average families and where price increases are most evident.
A difficult but necessary lesson learned by this young man. I wish him well. As for being a distraction, the American flag is a symbol of our freedom and sovereignty. These administrators should be ashamed of themselves.

If minors attending high school are distracted by something (parke!) in the parking lot, there's something wrong with the school, not the student driver. Maybe the classrooms need curtains.
I have a Boy Scouts Handbook from 1940. Flag code. I'm reminded that sometimes the flag covers a casket - respect.

@@torcikI had to learn about citizenship and knighthood from a book. I was basically a punk as a kid. It gets confusing or offensive because people are making flags with symbols that are personal to them. However, we cooperate as one nation, and our lives as individuals is generally dwarfed by our identity and history as a group.
I live in England and many authorities stop us flying the English flag of St. George as it is classed as too right wing and might offend the muslim immigrants.

I’m not even American nor do I reside there, but the government thinking of sending out billions to other countries (especially when they’re better off!) for whatever reasons instead of America First… that’s just nuts. And then preventing your own flag from being flown while others can be… that’s another level of crazy. Really hope Americans take back their country, get their gov to pull out of others and just move forward.

To be fair to the school district, the problem was not the flags themselves, but the size of the flags. They reminded everyone that the flag is flown at the school and are in classrooms. I feel that in this case, the story is not being fairly reported. I also am not a fan of oversized flags on vehicles. One broken shaft and you could have a road hazard flying right for your windshield.

I remember a neighbor of mine as a kid, early 90's had a Citroën. Fascinating car, rose when he started it and lowered when he shut it off. Now that I know a lil' more about vehicles, thanx to Scotty....the guy was always underneath that car on the weekends and the hood. Front end looked like a futuristic Tesla Model S 😂😂😂

Scotty, I truly appreciate your automobile advice and your views on the state of our nation.
We had a Prado from 2013 to 2022. Great vehicle but once it turned 25 years old I sold her on. 110,000km of trouble free driving when I owned it.
There isnt any way you can maintain those tolerances and i know i have been machining for 12 years and i hold 1-2 micron tolerances on taper with grinding shafts and about 10 on the overall tolerancing and you have to maintain temperature, time of day and the time of year and moisture, your tools that you measure with have to be inspected nearly everyday, its not possible now maybe if he meant 10 thou thats possible but not 10 microns.
He should drive his truck through the parking lot every day to show off his flags.
Kilmer should mime sign language as a side hustle. He'd make a fortune. By far, the most expressive pair of hands I've ever seen.
Car fires. A few years ago a friend of mine had a Buick sedan that he let his girlfriend use while he went to work. She went out for a drive with one of her lady friends and the alternator bearings froze on the road and was screeching. She pulled over and a guy stopped to help. He got the pulley unstuck and the went on their way. They stopped at a restaurant for lunch and while eating, the car caught fire and burned to the ground. Apparently the bad alternator got so hot it decided to blow its top.

Just payed 18k in taxes for them to charge me an extra $500 for not filing quarterly. It’s getting ridiculous and to the point I don’t want to work anymore. They take most of my extra money anyway. Taxes are the biggest expense of my business.

Sue them it is a violation of the "Flag Act" of 1974. Also a violation of the first amendment. Very expensive civil rights lawsuit. Ther is tons of case law ND precedence for this as well.
I'd prefer to homeschool my child nowadays. They have a flag at the school that they don't consider a distraction. Whichever teacher made this more than a big deal has nothing better to do.

I bought an 90s Integra not even 100k miles. No matter where I put the shift lever it went forward. Even in reverse and neutral it was in forward gear. I has to put it on a tow truck and send it back to car lot. Luckily he was an honest guy and took it no problem
