Last year i met Kenji Midori in a seminar i talked with him and i asked him if he fought Matsui in the past ?He said "YES" ,when he was already in hight school but he lost against Matsui
i have great respect for both of them as fighters, they were really good. but as being kancho of their organizations I'm less impressed by Matsui. I used to belong to IKO1 and noticed there was always some bs that we had to pay for and alot of changes in kata's I don't know how Shihan Midori manage the WKO but at least when it comes to Kata's he hasn't changed much to Sosai's teachings. But again, they were great fighters
Mutsui has a better record than Midori in World Tournamants and All Japan Tournaments. Matsui did the 100 Man Kumite and Midori did not. Although saying that Midori was by far the lighter fighter.
truly greate fighters :) !!!!!!
Both dudes rock man
They are both my favorites fighters too. They both show great techniques and not just pure brute strength.
