Very nice intro. I'm only watching this video now after having finished the game. The way HLD teaches you the mechanics without any text instructions or explicit tutorials is one of the best parts about it's game design.
When you get the dash upgrade, it doesn't just give you a third dash. You can dash as many times as you want if you can pull off the timing. I just called the gold stuff money and dollas..
Something that's essential to know are the keys - not the triangular monolith/node keys, but actual keys. They're round and have a depression on top. Probably upside down skulls since theyre found on corpses.... anyway they open doors with an actual key sign. some open with 1, some with 3, some with 8 keys etc. They're scattered among zones. 4 per zone so far (as far as i can tell)
OUT OF DATE COMMENT. On the floor there is a symbol that only appears next to Easter eggs. in fact most Easter eggs. The best way I can explain it is a little L inside a cube. Approximately the size of the dristers head
@Levic-t5v Top 10 all time game for me! If you love mysterious worlds and finger-cramping combat with an emphasis on dodging then I think you'll love it. It has incredible atmosphere and a very unique storytelling style.
I mean, if you've played the game at all you must already know this, but there is no way to "farm" money, since it is only ever found once in any area. You just need to go looking for it. I suppose someone probably has a map of all the locations, but even that would be almost useless since knowing where something is located often doesn't help you to *get* there, since keys and switches are so often located elsewhere.
the warp features re-spawns enemies, and there will be little clues on the floor if there are any secrets

The most useful HLD video I’ve seen so far. Thanks.

also some enemies i know its crazy but as you attack walk into them, you can pull off combos doing so
Just bought this for my first Switch game after 5 years of not buying any new consoles. Very excited!
Thanks for this. I was a bit put off by the game's 'silence'.
This game is so much fun
Yeah its super fun

How to find the e egg?
I can't get the dash down right. and what's with the grey bar in the top left now that I have dash+?
It's stamina. It depletes when using "skills" like chain dash and big-sword.
Was about to try and learn some of the basics but the intro convinced me not to read anything about it. Appreciate the wisdom!
Was the game any fun?
