You did good waiting on the upgraded version. I waited 8 months when the first ones came out. I'd prefer your color AND a stand alone oil filter any day. I live in flat Florida. My max speed is 53mph... and thats with a DIDX oring drive chain (got sick of all the slack adjustments on the non-oring).
I got mine for $5.500.00 total so pretty close I'm in Tennessee got it a year ago and have 3700 miles on it. Only 2 things I don't like about it. But the love for it outweigh those issues.
Thanks for the ride! I bought a 2023 CT125 and have been riding it for a few weeks. Love it. Stille have my CT110 1982. I weigh 220 pounds ans am 6 feet tall. Doesn't matter, love my ride.
In Québec, by law, manufacturers and dealers must post the out-the-door price and are obliged not to charge a cent more. Mine was 5632$ CDN plus sales taxes. Approx. same as in US in US dollars..
Thanks ! Did 50mph on my 1968 CT90 yesterday, yes I was tucked in . Have done 65 mph however it was downhill and with a 40 tooth rear sprocket . Stock is 45 tooth . I'm disappointed the 125 can't do highway speeds . 125 CC should be plenty enough to go 60+ . The early '70s Honda CL100 could do highway speeds with a loaded luggage rack . It's the first year CT110 all over again , larger CC , no low range , and still has no place on a highway or steep trails . If you can tell I'm disappointed however not surprised . The tradition of under powering the trail bike continues. I'm glad you are enjoying yours , they are so easy and fun to ride around .
Ouch on the Price. I paid 3999 + 300 +199 document fee + sales tax for a total of $4,821.00 also they told me this amount before I went to look at it 😊
That's a good price if you are in California. They seem to be more available now than they were in the last few years. I got tired of waiting. I don't have buyer's remorse for what I paid. That money is gone and I have my little bike. Of all my bikes, it is the least likely to ever be sold.
Thanks for sharing. I would pay what you did all day. in February i went 5 local Honda dealers and 4 were MSRP plus $2500-3000 ADM before taxes etc. One was 7600 including ADM before taxes etc. You wonder why i don;t have one yet? I get the Corona Virus Tax blah blah but i am not paying more than 25% ADM. I'll walk first or just ride my TW200 more often.
There are reports of dealers in the Midwest and further East selling them without ADM or other fees right now but nobody could tell me if all US bikes are 50-state bikes (CARB compliant) and didn't want to risk not being able to register one in California. I still can't believe that there aren't a ton of these on the used market after people impulse-bought them and got tired of 9hp. I didn't want to wait any longer. At least SoCal Honda Powersports made it relatively painless
I'm blessed to have a dealer in Michigan that sold me mine for sticker price plus state required fees. Even my high tax state it still was under 5K out the door
YES… it All has to do with the Honda ct 125 Trail, that all..!!! 😎👍 We also have Two other bikes, a URAL Patrol and a Harley as well. ✅ Looks a lot like along the mountain range along I-10 from Ontario to San Bernardino & Big Bear.👌🥳
Enjoying your Trail 125 videos. I just picked up a 23 Trail myself. Any tips on the preload adjustment? I have been trying to figure out what size spanner is needed for the adjustment. Thanks!
I don't know what size is correct I used the c-spanner that came with my Ural and just sort of made it work. It wasn't elegant. If I ever thought I would adjust them again, I'd just buy a cheap set of them. Next step would be replacing with YSS or Ohlins, though.
Thanks for the info. I tried using a spanner from a previous motorcycle but no luck, way too big. I was going to end up breaking something lol. Like you mentioned I think I’m going to just get me a cheap set for the future. Thanks!
It is such a joy to watch you having joy there. May I ask which part of southern California you are in and the name of the country roads you were riding on? Thanks.
@@baldrider FYI, I finally got my 2024 CT 125 after 5 months waiting and paid very close to what you paid. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. CA-18 is on my to-ride list now. Thanks again.

@@baldrider I'd much rather have a paid up Trail 125 then an Africa Twin with a $10,000 to $15,000 loan. But that's just me. Nothing against those who decide otherwise of course
In Australia I picked up a 2022 Honda CB125F for 1800 usd. Only had 200 km on it , but I have to say I'm jealous of you're ride, although that is a bit much, beautiful bike though!
6k is way too damn high for a bike that has to go downhill to hit 53. No deal. Im not out here willing to get scammed. You can take your electric car junk and shove it too
Yep, good video. Speed really wouldn't be the reason behind my wanting one of those. And people pay a whole lot more for just a lawn mower! Or even a barbecue these days 😋
I live in a pretty awesome place. I'm going to have to come up with some new video ideas or else folks are going to get tired of all of my videos riding around the same town
I ordered those mirrors thinking I would be getting a pair but only got one in the package so I stuck with the original extended mirrors on my CT 125 and ended up putting the ONE mirror on my 1972 ct 70. I think those are expensive mirrors for what you get.

During the fake Chinese flu fiasco those damned dealers were really price gouging! I’m picking up a preowned 2019 Super Cub for $3200, it’s got 19 miles on it. 💣😎
my buddy had a honda scrambler 90cc back in the early 1970's, it would hit just over 60 with the 2 of us on it, would have thought the 125cc could do more than 50mph, perhaps a wider range gear box would help, for me its no clutch no buy
@@originaloldpop8405 What you eek out at the top you lose elsewhere. I'd be embarrassed to commute on a 125 where I live. Dragging a line of cars behind me up hills. I wouldn't do that to other drivers, or to myself.
@@jamesmziegler You're right. shame honda put so much thought into the design then stuck a puny engine on it, top speed of 50 on a good day means not for public roads unless you like horns honking and middle fingers .
