U can get 7 polishes for $91 on holo taco, but it is worth it, the polishes are thick, normally only need one coat and are brilliant quality

The inside of a banana is definitely more yellow toned, while this polish is more of a cream/extremely pale brown.

I'm not sure about the cheap one you bought, but a nail polish shaker might help someone who has a disability, chronic illness, wrist issues, etc.

@@BeccaBender37 Yes, or they wouldn't have purchased it. The problem may be the speed of movement for shaking. It may be a matter of using the least energy possible so the person had enough energy to finish. It could be that they have other tools foe painting their nails like a prop to put their arm at a better angle and maybe the bottle holders so they don't need to make that extra motion. Everybody has different abilities and a lot od items may help one person but not another. E.g., I need an electronic wine opener but still can lift the wine glass to my lips.

The nail Polish shaker could actually be really beneficial to someone who's disabled! You can still have the ability to paint without the ability to shake! I have bad wrists so I roll mine!
I came down here to say the same thing! A lot of the seemingly useless products are actually designed for those who are disabled.
That’s what you should be doing anyway :) shaking creates bubbles and if you don’t want to wait 30-60 minutes to use it (for the bubbles to pop) you’re better off rolling it 👌

I used to be a caregiver, and one patient in particular, who was disabled, loved doing her nails. She could paint them herself but she would get winded when she had to shake the bottles, so she’d ask me to do it for her during our appointments. I can see how the product that shakes polish for you could be very helpful for someone with a phisical condition limiting them to do things like that without using a lot of their energy up. Just thought I’d throw it out there 🤷♀️👏
Most products that seem to be marketed towards lazy or time-saving people are actually made for disabled people (like how snuggies are made for wheelchair-users and things that shake are generally made for people with low coordination or muscle control)

Re: the nail polish shaker: I have a condition that causes muscle weakness, and I find that shaking nail polishes fatigues my arm muscles very quickly, to the point where I can't do it properly. I'm thinking that could be a potential market for that item.
same I was thinking about that I have a chronic pain disorder which is worsened by intense or prolonged use of muscles so I can see the benefit in that product

Try rolling the polish bottle between your hands. It's not as strenuous and some nail techs say it actually mixes the polish better. 💖 I have a bunch of nerve and muscle damage in by shoulder neck and back and shaking also kills my chronic pain areas. 💖💖

I think the shaker would be for someone like me! I am quadriplegic from a neurological disorder and I do my own nails, but shaking the polish is something I can’t do myself. I have my husband or kids do it for me.

As a nail tech who’s actually strained a muscle in my arm from shaking gel polishes during a bulk swatching session, I would gladly pay for somebody to shake the bottles for me 😄

The bottle shaker could be great for people with EDS or other disabilities. A lot of the time if things are being sold that make abled people think "what's the point?" It's frequently not for you. It's for people with disabilities.

I bought one because it's easier on my wrists and if I have to add thinner too I'd be shaking until forever. Also, for able bodied people: the shaker doesn't cause bubbles in your polish whereas normal shaking does.
Very true! My wrists are terrible, and doing things like shaking nail polish bottles can dislocate my wrists, which is never fun, especially when you drop the bottle and it breaks.

The nail dust collector is to be used under the desk, that's why theres an insert to put inside your desk so when you are filing your clients nails it just sucks up the dust from underneath while you file. It seems that you would have to cut a hole in your desk which is dumb...lol.
Ashleigh Latham I actually went to a salon that had a hole in the desk with the vacuum, but they kept it covered with like, a placemat kind of thing, and I thought the vacuum hole was the coolest thing ever... 😂
All of the nail salons I've been to have a vacuum hole in the middle of the desk.
You can also use it without cutting a hole in the desk xD I know a japanese Nail salon using it just like this.

I'm just glad spicy flu doesn't do like Ebola, it's scary, especially when people don't take things seriously.i work for a factory that makes plastic containers for hand sanitizer, detergents,fish bait and paint.i grind and recycle the plastic containers and even though I work alone,I'm touching plastics that people have touched and it makes me nervous because my mom's immune system is weak.i hope this pandemic ends soon because my hands are cracking and bleeding from how much I have to wash them. I discovered that regular hand lotion doesn't cut it,but stuff for your feet actually helps keep them from drying out.its called heel to toe and it's a purple tube,it's made out of bees wax and shea butter.

Cristine, the nail polish shaker thing is used at my salon! But it's used for eyelash glue bottles (with similar shapes), not nail polish. My salon lady uses it all the time because she has pain in her wrists.
I bought one to shake my paint bottles when i paint miniatures. works great!! the paint separates real bad.

We use the shaker at the lash studio I work at. You have to shake the lash glue for 2 straight minutes so the shaker comes in handy!

Not having full mobility doesn’t mean you can’t use your hands and arms at all, guys. I imagine the force needed to actually shake it would be a lot more difficult than painting the nails would be for many people too.
There are actually a variety of diagnoses where gross motor movements (big muscles so shaking walking jumping etc) are limited/not possible but fine motor movement is possible for people so I think you’re onto something with that!
I love writing reviews on Amazon tbh. When I get something I use it for a bit, write a review. Cause I read the reviews and it can definitely influence me if I buy it or not. So when I buy one and review it I always hope that my review can help tip someone’s scale or not.
