    First I have to say sorry about my bad English! Thanks for sharing your beautiful paintings with us. The idea I have about the problem with the difference between your colors look like on the canvas and on your 🎨 could be the glas palette. The ground on the canvas is white. If you put a white paper under your glad palette, or use a white palette, the camera can pick the right color. I don't really know but to me it make sense because I often practice photography.. Many thanks again!!!

    Great painting. Just a thought, would flashing some of the sky colour into the highlights on the water in places might tie the sea and sky together a little more?

    • @RyanORourkeArtist
      @RyanORourkeArtist  5 лет назад

      It definitely would bring it more together and make both the sky and wave more subtle. I personally wanted a more bold look with this one but you are more than welcome to take some artistic liberties and have fun with it!

    Great work, I'm wondering why you don't use a fanbrush for some of the techniques, not trolling just curious?

    • @RyanORourkeArtist
      @RyanORourkeArtist  5 лет назад +2

      Thanks and good question! I’ve never really been a fan of the brush, pun intended. I just feel like people generally try to use it to make a lot of randomized applications but it really does have a definitive shape and generally leaves a messy pattern. Can good work be done with it? Definitely. It just isn’t my preferred way of working. I find older, more distressed flat headed brushes just provide more control and avoid noticeable repetition better. Hope that helps!
