I love that! Little Dino, the full coated pup in the vid is 12, and spry as ever! Your pup must be surrounded by love and great care. 💕 Thanks for your comment!
More of these deep dives please for sure! I'm not a groomer, but I learned a lot about a beautiful breed of animal. Interesting and informative! The history part was great. You made me imagine African pirates with cute, fluffy dogs. "Oh, no, Captain! it's the Barbary pirates! They'll plunder our gold as their little dogs steal our hearts!"
Hilarious, thanks for your comment! 😄 And thanks for your feedback on the format - we really enjoyed telling the story of this amazing little breed. More to come for sure! 👍
Seems like a really wise choice, if you own a pair of similarly cute dogs, to give them distinctly different styles! I think that's a lot cooler then going for a twinsies look
Hi April!!! Yay, so glad you like the video! I'm hoping to do more of these for the different breeds that come visit me - thank u for your feedback, it means a whole lot! 😍🙏
Lovely - I definitley prefer handsome Dino's grooming look - I have a Coton, Dolly, and she looks just like him. That is definitley THE Coton de Tulear look. 🥰 I have never done the "puppy look" on her - I don't think it suits them, and hardly distinguishes Cotons from the Maltese, Bichons, etc, who are nearly always groomed in that puppy look fashion.
You are so right! I love Dino's look and that is indeed the Coton signature style! I'm glad u brought it up because we started Dora (the puppy cut girl in the video) with a natural style, but her coat is so easily matted that we (the owners and I) decided it was most humane to keep her in a puppy look. But I'm with you! Whenever possible and humane, keep them natural! Appreciate your comment and sending kisses to Dolly! 🐾🥰
@@GinasGrooming - So glad to hear that 🤩. Yes, I have to brush Dolly well every day and she loves it! (of course). Once in a while I spray her with a "detangling, restructuring, repair spray" that I use for myself as well - it works well. Warm greetings back.
Wonderful instruction. My Coton is 10 years old and still as playful and active as she was when just a puppy.

Two months later, I come up with an alternative ending to your comment: "...They'll plunder our gold as their little dogs steal *me hearties*!" 😂
Dino & Dora love you Gina! Thank you for taking such great care of them.
Yay, I love them so much, thank you! They are as sweet as they are lovely - a perfect reflection of their owners. 🌈😍
