I appreciate that! I was messing with 4 wheelers a lot during the shutdown to have something to do, but now that I'm back to work it's hard to find the time. I have a few things I need to do with my hunting 4 wheeler, I should be posting soon (when it's not so hot! ). Thanks.
The vin should be on the side of the frame behind the driver side tire and mud flap literally behind the mud flap facing outward towards the tire. Mines a 2002 but a 2x and a 4x4 ,i have the round headlights also and my steering is the same ..all that play lol
Check your chain tensioner n see if its holding tension ..its on the driver side and on the lower side of the head just below the petcock ,it looks like a pecker with two nuts . Theres two 8mm bolts and in the center is a 12mm bolt with a copper washer.. and to The left of the petcock on the upper side of the head is around cever with 2 bolts take that off And take the plastic round plug out of the top of the driver's side cover it's a regular head screwdriver Take that plastic screw plug out and turn the motor slowly until you see the timing mark. Once you see the timing mark in that little hole look at the cam gear up top behind the round cover and see if that mark is lined up. If they're both lined up then you didn't skip time. If the chain is loose on the right side of the Cam behind the Circular cover then Check your chain tensioner. If it is loose take the chain Tensioner out And replace it. If the chain tensioner isn't working that can be the noise you're hearing the chain's smacking around.ik this vid is old but maybe it will still help u b4 u rip the motor apart if u hadn't already
nice that your honest and don't act like you know everything! nice video

It's on the breather box cover
